This fanbase is so dramatic. Every time Dallas faces any adversity it's the end of the world.

It doesn't matter if Dallas wins, because when they lose it's the "worst organization, worst coaching, horrible players, blow it up".

The term "Overreaction Monday" fits perfectly for this fanbase.

I think Dallas will win on Monday making them 4-2. When I did my predictions before the season started I had Dallas 4-2 going into the bye. Dallas is exactly where they should be. The sky is not falling.
If your excpectation was to still not be able to beat good teams and lose to one terrible team, then yeah, we're right where we should be. And that's right where we are EVERY year. Good, but not good enough. Unless you didn't watch the game Sunday, you know that what we saw wasn't even close to good, but just awful. Stand on the soapbox if it makes you feel better. And for the record, I think we do beat the Chargers. Because we always seem to stay competitive in the standings for a wildcard.

So another Dak and team hate on thread. I am as disappointed as the next fans the way they lost to SF. And the way Dak has played this year and even last year.

But all these "FRUSTRATION" threads are out of control.
But have at it, that is why you are here.

Just don't turn it into another 98% Dak thread. Plenty of other threads for that.
Come on Jazzy,

Vaquero is always a level-headed poster, and I personally didn't see anything that would remotely turn this into a hate on the QB in the OP.

Everything He/She said was true and without vitroile.

Ease up a bit. Your response was far more negative than his post.

My response was not about that, it was about the responses going forward. We all seen this before and know what direction it will go.

Thanks bro! It must be the Jerry Jones part. Can't help it. I've heard too many of those Ticket Fake Jerry bits.

I’ve been following the Cowboys since the 1972 season and this is one of the strangest seasons I can remember. We’re either blowing teams out or being blown out. We beat New England 38-3 then lose the following week to San Francisco 42-10. After the first two games of the season some were picking the Cowboys to go to the Super Bowl and now some don’t even think they’re going to make the playoffs. Can’t recall a season like this one. In just two weeks, the Cowboys went from being one of the top 5 teams in the entire league to not even being in the top 5 teams in the NFC in some rankings.

Or it is that we have a bunch of new coaches teaching differently. A new person calling a new offensive system (we don't know if the verbiage is the same or different) with different plays and schemes. Causing the offense to get things together slower (same s#it in Denver with the GREAT Sean Payton and Russel Wilson). And a defense that wasn't good against the run that was hoping to get better through the draft, but lost the 3rd round pick and the 1st rounder isn't performing yet. That to go with losing our best cover corner.

He wanted way too much $$$$ AND preferred going home to Seattle.
Jazz, here’s a comparison of Bobby Wagner’s contract to LVE’s:
  • Wagner: 1 year, $5.5 mil, guaranteed $5.5 mil.
  • LVE: 2 years, $8 mil, guaranteed $5 million.
So there is essentially 500k difference In guaranteed money. Maybe BW wanted to go to Sea but he wasn’t asking for too much.
IMO we settled for LVE, who I like but he’s injury prone and nowhere near the run stopper Wagner is.

Fans gonna be fans (“fanatics”) Who cares what fans think?
For me all I care about is results. Particularly in the playoffs. Stats, “media respect”, etc means nothing to me. Until this team can prove they are capable of winning multiple playoff games in the same season, why wouldn’t anyone think of them as “underachievers”?

Thanks!

Except I read he got 7 million for a year and we paid 5.5 for LVE. So that leaves a 1.5 million difference. I don’t think that’s was too much.

But thanks again.

The difference in guaranteed money was only $500k.

Bottom line…Wagner wanted to go home to Seattle. He had no intention of signing anywhere elae unless the money was too good to pass up.

No not much difference, but he wanted to sign in Seattle regardless. Unless some team offered $10 million plus.
Maybe Jerry should have but he wasted it on Pollard.

Life's easy when all you're gonna do is grease the ankles and assume the position, eh? Stop lecturing grown men who are upset with subpar performance. I would say the burden is on those who want to REWARD the team and Dak with more money, more years and a longer leash.
Couldn't have said it better.

IMO what many Cowboys fans are weary of is being told by the owner and his spoiled son that this is a Super Bowl contender with an impressive roster, better than the year before, and yet the signs begin to appear that they are pretty much the same. The Jones boys, unlike a lot of NFL top brass, try to oversell their team, regardless of their ability to deliver.

Still way too early to declare this team dead with 12 games left. But seeing the same Charmin softness of this team both mentally and physically makes it hard. I want to see this team win and do well. But if they do it will surprise me.
