our slot reciever for 2011?

He will have to make major improvements if he hopes to get a starting job.

Oh, Okay! How 'bout we first ask him to pass Kevin Ogletree and Sam Hurd on the WR depth chart before we make him the #3 WR.

EDIT: ROFLMAO - The utube video is slow to load and often stutters. How fitting for a highlight vid for this guy. LOL

Now that would be a start. Honestly not sure if either of them is what the Cowboys will be looking for at the slot position.

I don't know how much of a slot receiver he'll be. Those highlights are all him running straight down the field, even the bubble screen.

I wouldn't be surprised if he does make the team but I wouldn't be surprised if he was gone either.

Hurd is a FA, he may be back but he may leave. Ogletree may be cut.

How about we bring back Patty Crayton?

Loud mouth or not, I like the dude and he is gunna keep the chains moving.

Assuming Roy is cut, our #3 WR next season likely is not currently on the roster.

Considering his views of Garrett I highly doubt Jason wants him on this team

If Roy stays, I'd love to see Miles in the slot in 3 wr formations.

If Roy goes, I'd love to see Ogletree in the slot in 3 wr formations.

Titus Young?

Isn't he the kid how had crazy production from that small school?? If so I like that kid and forgot we had him

EDIT: Nevermind its Titus Ryan I was thinking of that's that kid from Boise

I'd like for it to be a veteran because we need a veteran WR presence to be a good influence for Miles and Dez.

In my opinion, getting rid of Roy was be a very stupid mistake. We've got three very good receivers on this team, and you need three good ones, especially as much as we throw the ball. I know we also have Witten and two other good TEs and the Roy's contract is more than his production, but I still don't want to get rid of him. He is productive. Not a Pro Bowler, but productive. We need to leave well enough alone when it comes to our strengths and our receivers and tight ends are the biggest strength on the team.
