I love me some Tonga. 7th round/UDFA. :)

Yhea, that's where they have him. :D

Here are some other players who we've looked at and some who we haven't:

WR
Joe Webb - 3rd/4th rounder. I found that interesting. Position change, but good measureables
A Roberts - 3rd/4th
M Gilyard - 3rd/4th
J Shipley - 3rd/4th
E Sanders - 4th/5th
T Price - 4th/5th - thought this was a bit too low
C Mitchell - 4th/5th - thought this was a bit too low

I think there should be some quality WRs available with our 3rd rounder.

TEs
D Dickerson - 4th/5th round
Clay Harbor - 4th/5th round
G Graham - 5th/6th

OGs
M Petrus - 6th/7th - I though he was more like a 3rd/4th rounder
M Newhouse - 6th/7th

DTs
T Alualu - 3rd/4th round - For a 34 scheme, I think he's more like a 2nd rounder.

CBs
C Cook - 2nd/3rd
M Lewis - 3rd/4th
Spievey - 3rd/4th
Kevin Thomas - 4th/5th
AOA - 4th/5th - I thought he was more like a late 2nd/3rd rounder

FS
Jeromy Miles - 6th/7th round. I think he's an interesting prospect.

1st Class Postage :laugh1:

I ordered my Kiper Draft Guide at the same time and I'm still waiting for that. I hope it comes before the Draft.

I've fortunately received all the other mags though.

Yes, and also NFL Draft Bible (for the 1st time, and it's pretty good). And Sporting News, and Lindy's.

B Spikes - 1st round ----> I highly disagree with this ranking

Brandon Spikes received a first day grade by the NFL advisory committee following his junior season and opted to stay at Florida.

He's an athletic player who just happens to time poorly, IMO.

I'm glad Spikes' stock is dropping because we might end up with unbelievable value if we land him.

I think he can be a very good 2-down LB in a 34, but I don't see him being a 3 down LB. I just don't think he's a 1st round pick with those limitations.

And I wouldn't mind picking him up later in the draft as well - esp as we have guys like Carp and hopefully J Williams and Hodge who could come in during obvious passing downs.

That's pretty much how I feel.

4-3 teams will likely get scared off by Brandon Spikes' "lack of speed" and there's no telling where he will go with an increase in 3-4 schemes dotting the NFL landscape.

It'd be unreal to land such a talent in the third round, plenty of sites project Spikes to go even later.
