My initial thought was Clay Matthews, however, when you look at what makes Clay Matthews great it isn't necessarily his pure pass rushing skills, although is a good pass rusher. He is more of a total package type of guy.

I guess I'd go with Cameron Wake.

Freeney - Colts
Allen - Vikes
Matthews - Pack
Abraham - Falcons

Not just last year, but over the past two years. In that order.

I'll go with Matthews, but there are 2-3 others that are in the mix for #2.

As a pure pass-rusher, I'd say Dwight Freeney. Guy is practically unblockable by just one guy.

Were there any stats that predicted these guys would be this good? And if you could get a Freeney in the draft, would you change our defense to fit his skills?

Julius Peppers is downright nasty... I can't believe a guy that size (6'8, 285) can do what he does at times.

I like Lamar Woodley as well, just downright nasty and mean.

Other than Ware, Jared Allen is the only guy who has consistently been in double digits in sacks for the last 4 years. I put a lot of emphasis on consistency

Well out of the 32 known NFL teams I could probably make a decision, but if your throwing in the potential LA expansion team and another future team as well it throws a wrench in my decision making lol
