I know the Cowboys are the better team. But the last two weeks have been hard fought, physical games. Now a short week, with 2 rooks that have never done that before. I think this is going to spell trouble for us this week. I expect a close game but I also think the winning streak comes to an end.

The Cowboys are going to start getting everyone's best shot now because of the media hyping the team up. So far we have taken every shot and laughed. We'll see what happens but I am more confident in this team than I have been in a Cowboys team since I almost can't remember.

When did Dallas change from finesse to physical?

After each succeeding win in 2016 seems a factual response to me . . . their confidence is at an all-time high.

They're riding the wave of success and fortunately, it isn't with simply one or two of those in each area. It's everyone.

The Commanders can say whatever they want. I like the Cowboys in this one. The Cowboys have big advantages at QB...RB and OL. Homefield has finally turned into an edge as well. The Commanders are in for a big surprise. This is a far different club than they have faced in years.

I think you may be overestimating the advantage at QB. RB and OL definitely.

And before people want to take that as some great criticism of Dak, you might want to take a look at Cousins performance. I know everyone loves to talk about how he sucks. Only problem is, he's not playing like it.

Im an over confident Cowboy fan right now.

We haven't taken the lead early in awhile and teams have hung around on us because of that.

If we come out tomorrow and get an early lead I think Dalls rolls the Commanders.

Commanders are a little too confident after beating up on an absolutely decimated Green Bay defense.

Let's also consider that the Commanders will be playing under similar pressures as well with the same lack of rest. This game should be just another one in a succeeding series of "tests." No doubt, the Commanders will be playing for keeps but when have we not done so this year? I'm surely not suggesting that it's "in the bag" by any stretch of the imagination but I see no real reason to doubt them at this juncture. They're on a roll.

I'm as worried about this game as any. The Skins offense is rolling right now, and if Hopkins hadn't choked in London, they'd be 7-3. Cousins is playing great, and they have 5 tremendous receiving options in Reed, Crowder, Garcon, Jackson and Davis. Rob Kelly has given them a consistent (but not spectacular) running game, and their OL is legit.

If the Cowboys don't pressure Cousins, he's going to make big play after big play against the Cowboys's depleted secondary. Scandrick ain't the same player right now, so it's on Carr, Brown and Jones to play A+ games and hope Wilcox and Heath don't give up big plays.

However, if Dallas can continue their time-eating, physically demoralizing, mistake-free (for the most part...1st and 30) 10+ play drives that take 6+ minutes, then they'll be in good shape.

I think the game will come down to who has the ball last wins. Hopefully it's Dallas.

One last note, the Cowboys under Garrett are 2-4 on Thanksgiving with wins against a terrible Miami team in 2011, and a terrible Oakland (Matt McGloin picked them apart) team in 2013.

Cowboys can't play Byron on Reed all day and let Wilcox play FS. I think Reed is going to go off underneath because Cowboys will worry more about the deep ball.

This is where a solid pass rush could neutralize that...which is our Achilles heel. That is why I get sooo frustrated thinking about what could have been based solely on talent and athleticism. Could you imagine what this defense could have looked like if Gregory/McClain loved the game of football and weren't addicted to weed, if Hardy just showed poor judgement that he learned from his mistakes and wasn't a complete basket case, if J Smith had a miracle early recovery, if Mo could actually get through multiple seasons with suffering injuries causing him to miss multiple games. If things on defense actually worked in our favor for a change, I would putting money aside right now for SB tickets.

wth. That clip is too funny!

I'd bet a dollar to a doughnut that his butt was hurting badly after that hard collision with the ice. He won't be doing that again anytime soon! ;)

That last part is an understatement. As fantastic as Dak Prescott has been so far this season, the Cowboys’ identity is based around Elliott’s hard-nosed running style and his willingness to grind opponents down.

Don’t for a second think that’s lost on him – he points it out after every game. He said it again Tuesday, as the Cowboys gear up for a division rematch, against an opponent that held him to just 83 yards in Week 2.

“They are going to try to come out and match your physicality. They are going to be fresh early in the game,” he said. “But there are not many teams that want to do that for four quarters and that's a mentality. There are not many teams that ask other teams to do that for four quarters and that's the type of team we are.”

Tiring as it might be, Elliott prefers it that way. Asked if physicality is the type of football he prefers, he smiled.

“I think that's the championship style,” he said. “I think championship teams all have that.”

Be advised: Dallas isn't the same team they played week two. The Cowboys are becoming a Juggernaut.

They are the most physical team in the NFL and about 1000 times more physical than that patsy Green Bay team Washington beat.

Skins fans can chant away... it isn't going to change the inevitability of the physical nature of the game they're about to play.
The same could be said of Washington.

If Cousins had played even decent that game, they probably would have won going away. They are playing much better now, especially at QB.

They have every reason to be confident. They are playing well. They've found a lineup that works. They played us tough the first time.

Like others have said, it's a division game. When have those ever been easy?

Aye, they should be and not a thing wrong with it. Besides, all of this goes out the window once the ball is kicked. Then it is merely a matter of execution.

I think vintage 2010 Sean Lee comes up with a huge interception!

You could say that it isn't the same Commanders team as in week two, I agree.

However, you can't say they are the most physical team in the league. That is Dallas. That is my main point. They physical toll playing Dallas takes on teams is evident, even during a normal 7 day NFL week. On a short week, it isn't going to be fun trying to stop that Dallas offense.

Now Washington scores some points, for sure, but they are a more finesse passing offense. You can still win with that, I know... but it won't be like trying to stop the full might of the uber physical offense of Dallas.

Will Dallas win? I don't know... I'm not into predictions. That isn't what I'm saying because I know the nature of these division games. I remember a 1-15 Dallas team getting its only win at RFK Stadium against the playoff bound Commanders.

What I'm saying is that Washington's defense is going to be beaten down by the second half.

If the Commanders passing game is clicking it might be a long day for us though. Our offense has to control the game and play keep away. I'm also hoping the bright spot is too much for Kirk.
