Over-react Anyone?

Agreed Doomsday. I was disappointed with that performance. I just feel we are a little better than 500. On the edge, certainly Not a great team this year, but I do like the direction. Thanks for the response, very new at this.

Is it direction? Or misdirection? A cruel artifice assiduously concocted by Garrett to placate our senses and poison our pragmatism. I really want to believe the direction but when a team builds on a spirited performance with one akin to a monkey fornicating a football then I have to wonder if we won't all be dragged kicking and screaming down that long dark hole called Cowboys football circa 2010. Just a thought.

This is a strange thread. Fans should be ticked off by the effort from the team and coaches. If I was the owner, I would be furious, not because of losing one game, but because the team showed they have alotta quit in them. The owner in this case can only show so much anger because he is a big part of the problem. The game showed that the culture change has not taken place. If it had, the team would have fought till the end. They didn't. They quit and showed themselves to be gutless wonders. It makes me question the vereran core players, because this is the second coach that has gotten these results.

This is what I do not understand about a Real Cowboy Fan. I have been a fan for about 40 sum years. Shy on the msg boards. basically a stalker, but have much knowledge for this team. Member for about 7 years. Love you all, don't jump! We are good.

lmao!!! A 40 year old "REAL" Cowboys fan eh?

Your laid back, who cares, no big deal mantra does little to support your claim that you are a REAL cowboys fan. In fact, it implies just the opposite. Unless of course you are simply confinced that this team is the same old, 8-8 caliber disappointment its been for the past 15 years for the most part.

The Cowboys didnt just lose a nail biter, they werent even in this one from the kickoff. And they got manhandled and beat up in EVERY phase of the game. Coming off an incredible victory like last week and setting the tone for the season, they just served up notice. basically that they will most likely be the same disappointing, overated, heart break, inconsistent Cowboys they have been for the last 15 years.

But hey, no big deal right? Who cares? Its just one game!!! LOL

I have read alot of dumb threads today on several different sites, but this is by far and away the dumbest one.

How about............."undereact anyone"?

Now if we were the Giants coming off a superbowl win and we start off slow every year, then no problem. No big deal. But this is the Cowboys my man. And they do this EVERY year with little to show. One playoff win in 15 years.

Sorry bub, but based on your pathetic attitude towards an empty blowout to a rookie QB led football team, you qualify as a low standard, indifferent cowboy fan imposter.

And no doubt you were trumpeting Garrett and singing the praises last week about how the Cowboys were primed for a nice playoff run after the great showing last week.

Plastike, I have been watching this team since probably before you were born. That does not make me right, but you should think before pressing send.

How about I don't?

You mad?

Exactly. There was finally a shadow of hope that Garretts apparent culture change may be kicking in. Only to see it crumble into the just the opposite. We got destroyed yesterday in every phase. This was embarassing and Garrett just stood there all day long like a statue with his shades on. No rah rah, no clapping guys on the back, no getting pissed at anyone. Just the model of boredom, dull, and unemotional. The team appears to be following right in line with their head coach. That was pathetic.

But hey, "nothing to see here". LOL "who cares"? LOL

Yah, best Cowboy fan EVER!!! LOL

Any fan who's been following the team for a number of years has a right to react the way they are we're seeing the same tiring up and down pattern we've been seeing. The team can't even stay up after a big win. The Cowboys put everything they had into beating the Giants and went flat the next week. They continue to be a poorly coached, undisciplined, passionless, inconsistent team.
