Over/Under on 1st "bust!!!" post

"I cant believe we didnt do more at WR"

"this guy sux!!! and I said it on draft day!!!!"

"we're doomed!!!! the Chargers are just killing us in a preseason game!!!"

"Phillips cant coach!!!!"

But its gonna happen...the game starts at 10:00pm EST, I say by 10:45 we'll see posts and/or new threads started about something like the above...it happens every yr...

Unfortunately the above is what takes some of the fun out of football season finally being here, because we have way too many chicken little's and fickle folks who wont see tonight for what it really means- which is basically nothing. Sure I'd love to see us play well and see rookies and young guys we're counting on make huge strides, but at the end of the night the only stat that matters is one they really dont keep- INJURIES...I dont care if we get pasted 41-0 as long as we come out of the game healthy. I remember in 1991 the Commanders looked like a sad sack, keystone cops bunch and went winless during the preseason only to go 14-2 and paste Buffalo in the Super Bowl...so keep things in perspective. We know we have a good team with alot of talent.

Well said. And I agree, someone will have started priming the pumps (drinking heavily) before the game has even started. The Cowboys may come out flat, not looking as sharp on the field as most of us has expected them to - and it will be all Wade's fault. Or Roy Williams fault.

Bottom line, it's only the first preseason game.
