Over/Under on wins this season has Cowboys at 8.5

I would pay good money to get Jerry Jones and you together in his office just so you could say that to him. The Mad Genius would laugh in your face. Then he would have security escort you completely off The Star campus. You might gain a better understanding of who you are talking about afterwards, lol.
come on DE he will realize it in year 30,31,32..or maybe 33...change is right around the corner!!!

Again,
This team and especially it's QB, sucked BEFORE ALL the injuries last year.
Those who keep using the injury excuse as a reason for missing the playoffs last season are lying to themselves.
Between 6 and 8 wins is a pretty good estimate for this year.

Fact!
We are going to lose both Games to the Deadskins and EGirls and the Midgets are not guarenteed victories anymore.
So we will be doing good just to avoid last place in our division.

Maybe we can win 5.8 and someone up front will finally realize what a mistake they made in signing a QB to 60 million!
Not sure I follow this line of thinking. does it really matter what we pay any individual player if the front office is not willing to use available funds to fill out the roster with best talent available? We could have paid Dak $30mm or CeeDee $20mm or Micah $20mm and it probably wouldn't have made a difference with who is on this roster. they would have still shopped FA in the bargain bins, relied on the draft and probably would have spread the $70mm saved on those 3 contracts to other FA's already on the team.

There is no reason to not take the over. Other than just pure dislike for the team.
They had 3 straight 12 win seasons and made the playoffs. And the playoffs have nothing to do with this. It is a regular season thing. Just saying playoff type teams, win at least 10 games most of the time.

They were favorites to win the NFCE last year or at least to compete for it again with the Eagles. So win the east or get a WC.
Even with the lack of off season moves, they were returning the same team with added draft picks. So no reason not to think they would win 11 or 12 games. Then the injuries happened. And yes, injuries derailed SF as well.

So with basically a similar team this year, the way it is looking. No reason the should not be around 10 wins.
Jazz, Have you seen all of the players that have left the Team since those 3 12 win teams?
I am talking a mass exodus my friend.
And our last few drafts have not been stellar.
We currently got NOBODY at back up QB and Dak is now injury prone.
It should be entertaining no doubt.

they won that many games in a dumpster fire division that has improved exponentially. they are not returning the same team, and key players are returning from injury.

Some posters are saying "wait until we draft to strengthen".....I take it you know other teams draft too therefore we should assume parity?

Doesn't look like a winning season from my seat - 7 wins.
