Over/Under on wins this season has Cowboys at 8.5

But many of those 12-5 guys fans wanted gone anyway.
You lean way to hard on this and while some may have, you are overstating it.

The main point though is, what the heck do the thoughts of us numbskulls on a forum have to do with the ability of a draft pick to fill a spot?

Whether or not our 3rd round pick is going to contribute will in no way be impacted by what you or I or anyone thought about the player he replaced.

You seem consumed by what "they" and "many" and "those" think to the point of it affecting your ability to separate the noise from the real.

Wrong again.

And once again you are wrong. I bring the truth.
Ok Jazz. If you say so.

The "others" that have pointed this out to you in the past must be all wrong.

I wish you success in your never ending battle to bring your truth to "they", "those", "some here" and "fans" who have a different perspective than you do.

Good luck with that.

Since this is an actual football and team related discussion would you do me the honor of offering some specifics on what exactly you disagree with in the post you quoted?
It does not matter what I respond with, with you. Not wasting anymore time. I have more important things to do.

I don't blame you. Trying to explain your position that what "some here" think about a former player has anything at all to do with how a draft pick is going to perform at that position seems like an impossible task.

Just ball up your fists and scream "no" and call it good.

No, I will just go about what I need do. Right now, looking at some bargain stocks and crypto to buy. Check in here once in a while, see if any news, good or bad. Depending if Jerry had a bottle of JWB yet.
I do not let anger consume me.
I lived too long to allow stress to rule my life.

Maybe we can win 5.8 and someone up front will finally realize what a mistake they made in signing a QB to 60 million!
lol like who ?? jerry or quote boy stephen ?
They are all in on dak and will never realize or admit they were wrong.
They like over paying the guys they consider the stars, the foundational players lol.
They will over pay micah too , more than 40 mil.

they sure will over pay for Micah, and in 2 years or so we'll start to say it even more!!

There are a number of factors still yet to be decided to determine what games we may or may not win this season. The draft will be key as I believe that we have to pick at least 3 guys to be upgrades over who we have now. The other issue is that once again we are reshuffling the deck of cards with respect to coordinators on both offense and defense. It could get ugly. Now if I have to base it on last year's team with regards to this year's performance, I have a hard time seeing us winning more than seven games for the following reasons: the departures of Martin and Lawrence. Although both were getting long in the tooth, they still provided solid depth if not starting material. Lewis leaving leaves a big hole in the secondary. Many point to a lot of injuries last year as reason for our lack of success, but those same injuries loom with respect to Overshown and Diggs. Then there is the elephant in the room - Dak. If Dak doesn't play exponentially better than he did prior to his injury last season, then it won't matter what help we get on offense.
