Over/Under on wins this season has Cowboys at 8.5

I’ve hit on this for several years. It’s very difficult seeing 9+ wins this year. I’m not sure we would have reached it last year despite the injuries . So Id have to say under. And 8-9 could be a good season for this roster.

Could be 8 to 9 wins depending on how good the RB is that they draft. Our young O Line could use a really talented back to alleviate the pressure and make their jobs easier
You are assuming it's RB...seen enough mocks to say it could be WR, CB, TE

I have no faith in this idea though...or they wait until 5th Rd because they screwed around earlier
Agreed. My fear is they think Javonte Williams and Miles Sanders mean they don't need to draft a RB.

Sure, both are better than Zeke was last year, but are eight carry, 17 yard games the new benchmark around here?

First-year HC who was a journeyman OC who may/may not tweak the offensive scheme;
New DC installing a new defensive scheme;
Best CB coming off of injury/knee surgery;
Dak coming off of injury/surgery with an unsettled back-up QB situation;
Continued inability to establish/stop the run;
Poor red zone offense;
Continued undisciplined play and will probably rank among the lead leaders in penalties again;
Tough schedule

I think I will take the under.

Now they're getting closer. I'd heard earlier that it was 7. Jerry desperately wants to be relevant, and he's acquired the players to finish w/ 8-9 wins.
We still dont know what the draft will bring so all this is kinda silly to predict right now IMO.
All it requires is a 2-3 good draft picks, and that could add 2-3 wins. Finish with 10-11 wins.

Carter, Hunter, and Jeanty and the Cowboys would still lose more games than they win. The Commanders and Eagles will struggle to win “10-11” games in 2025. The Dallas Cowboys are a bad football team. A blind man can see it.

Talent wise as of today, this is a 6-7 win team. Playing the Giants twice, Panthers, and Jets should secure at least 4 wins. Raiders, Bears, and Cardinals are also winnable games. The rest of schedule is against more talented teams.

Well said, but we seem to have had issues with the Cardinals going 0-3 the last 3 games with them running the ball down our throats.

The Bears could be tough too now that Ben Johnson is HC......the Raiders are still the Raiders, lol

The 7 or under wins seems to be a legit prediction

Jeanty will be gone come 12...Hampton will be there for the picking, but we know what will happen.....draft the TE or trade down and miss out on both

Yeah, these are 50/50 games. Bears could be much improved on offense. Raiders have Geno Smith on board. The cards seem to have our number every year....... but we stole the guy responsible for their run game.

Absolutely. Only thing to do if one is inclined to discuss this topic is to guess.

If we all hit our knees and pray really hard, maybe just maybe GOD will say enough is enough with Prescott and drop Arch Manning into the lap of the Cowboy organization. I'm hoping the Boys finish with no more than 2 away wins, one against the Eagles and one against Washington.
