you do not need two #1 picks at WR
show me a SB winner that had that
I don’t care when they’re drafted but you 100% need at least 2 high end weapons to be a legit contender. Off the top of my head Philly, SF, Balt, KC all have 2 1st round WRs.

If the BPA is a WR I’m 100% turning the card in with zero hesitation. We’ve needed a legit 2nd weapon ever since Cooper walked.

When they WON SBs did they have two first rd picks there?

3/4 have been to the Super Bowl in the last few years and Balt has been to the AFC Champ. Seeing as we haven’t in 20+ years seems like a step in the right direction.

What’s your solution?

I find it very hard to believe two #1 picks on a team winning the SB
mainly because of the diva factor

Again I never said it has to be a number 1 pick…

And again, what is your solution?

Not a great year to be picking top 10 for a team that desperately needs WR help.

TMac is probably my early WR1 but I don’t see him as a top 10 talent. Love the length, catch radius and ball skills but I don’t see an easy separator. I saw a Drake London comp and thought that was perfect.

Burden is boom or bust. Explosive athlete but his route tree is borderline non existent. I think the top 20 talk is wild.

I’m actually very high on Bond. He’ll get labeled as a speed guy, which he is, but he might be the best route runner in the class. Catch is top 10ish small WRs generally don’t hit. If he does probably has a Waddle type ceiling but there are probably 100 names of similar size / speed that haven’t hit.

Egbuka had a monster breakout year a few years back then got injured and is now playing 2nd fiddle to OSUs phenom freshman. He’s labeled as been a stud athlete but feel like most of his success is on short passes and crossers and you don’t really see him stretch the field much. Hard time seeing him as a 1st rounder.

Tre Harris is another player I’m high on but he’s probably more of a fringe 1st / 2nd rounder. Love the size, length, ball skills and down the field playmaking ability against good comp in the SEC. Looks like a great fit for our O.

I know it’s a bad class overall but I’d be hard pressed to take any of these dudes around pick 10. If we’re dead set on a WR would much rather trade down and take whoever falls between TMac and Bond.
There might not be that elite receiver at the top, but the position always has a ton of depth. We now have several who can compete to become that so called X receiver in Mingo, Tolbert and Flournoy. Question is do we target more of a Y who can stretch the field or more of a slot like a Cole Beasley type? Lamb can play any receiver spot. Clearly we need another top flight receiver as teams have figured out they can just take out Lamb/Ferguson. It a big need, but I think depth will allow the team to wait until day 2.

We just need a playmaker that can consistently separate and beat 1:1s when Lamb is getting doubled.

I don’t really care if the type but probably don’t want want a slot only. You can find those dudes later in the draft.
