I was hoping that Overshown was not going to join the other players here that run their mouth.....but he fed right into the culture here established by the owner.

MM is a decent coach but this is yet another example of players shooting off their mouths, giving other teams " blackboard material" and not fear reprisal from our HC.

He is admitting the Cowboys are having a down year. I have no problem with him talking up a game like this. Players need to have some pride. They need to play with pride.

This team stinks, but I do believe they are going to win a game somewhere that they were expected to lose. I don't think it is this one, but a strong effort would be promising for the future.

Actually it's not I I think that maybe you don't understand that these players haven't quit and maybe that bothers you they still have some fight in them they have some pride yes it's a down year but he's allowed to say things like that I'm glad he is some of these guys still have a passion they still are into this season and he's actually 100% correct the Houston Oilers the Houston Texans and the Tennessee Titans all connected their entire existence they've never done a single thing they've never been arrival for the Dallas Cowboys the fact that we have 5 titles have been to 8 Super Bowls and have been a top six team we've been in the playoffs 5 out of the last eight years we are more relative than they are we are still the owners of Texas now I thought he was gonna go on a rant about the Texas Longhorns and I was wrong when I opened this I thought he was at least saying at least his Longhorn team had a shot this year but I'm glad that we have players on this team that haven't quit..

So you are the one that needs to shut up you're talking to a dude that can't read this I'll defend it for him you don't like me to tell you to shut up don't tell other people to shut up it's rude it's embarrassing that our fan base has checked out they have no pride they have no fight that you can't take any solace in what he said and hope even in a year you hope they tank and have a terrible year and you want them to lose all the games that's embarrassing and I understand why you would think that way but you should want them at all cost to beat everybody in the NFC East and win Texas so if there's anything you could take from a down year like this beating the Houston Texans would be a nice bonus...

The fact that you think this is somehow bragging or they don't see how bad things are is embarrassing you should be embarrassed you even posted this I'm glad they still have fight in there what do you want them to lay down like a like a dead dog like a dying dog I mean that is bad that would be bad 'cause that's what you're doing you're hoping for a loss and I'm gonna rant all over you.... Have some day of pride the star still means something even in a damn down year yes it's a bad year yes we gotta look to next year and it's sad what eight games left or whatever is left we have to already be looking to next year but at least they are still thinking about winning a game instead of laying down and taking that is not the type of players I want on my team you know like Connor Williams a damn quitter he's his job got taken and he quits mid season and retires he's healthy and he retires that's not what I want on my team...

You and I are on the same page my man chocolate lab should be embarrassed that he wants the team to give up lay down and take losses on purpose that they should have no pride and no fight left in him I don't wanna damn player on my team that quits like Connor Williams did on the Seattle Seahawks they're not even having a bad year he goes and retires because he's pouting he's not starting anymore I don't wanna play her like that I want players that wanna fight I don't care if we win a game that hurts our draft status you want players like this that still have fight and pride even in a very down year and you and I seen his statement is the very thing they realize they're not good but they're looking for motivation to come in and give this game a fight and both fan bases deserve a real game not a team laying down and tanking they should wanna win a game if the Texans win they should want Dallas to bring everything they have I would want the same in them..

That's not what he's doing it's called pride I know people in here don't understand that when you play sports especially just as a human being yes we're down that doesn't mean they need to lay down like dead dogs and not fight and have passion and wanna win this game the fact that some of you don't understand what he meant and that you think we should tank and lay down and let the Texans have an easy win yeah they're probably gonna win anyway but I want 53 players just like him you don't give up in the middle of a season and play dead you have passion you have fight and you have pride if you don't understand what Texas pride means then you should not be on this site you're taking it all out of context like everybody else takes everything out of context here 'cause I want it molded into their narrative but I want 53 players on my team just like him and I want them to all be talking like this every game the rest of the way I don't want them laying down and tanking they're gonna lose their games anyway more so than not but why do we need to talk like losers that's what you all are doing y'all are a bunch of losers that's loser talk that you don't want the man to have a little pride talk a little noise even in the down year that's what I want you fight nobody wants a team that gives up and quits on their coaching staff or their teammates..

And I for sure don't want to be associated with a fan base that's quit to a point where they wanna lose the rest of the games on purpose that doesn't suit pride..

good for him.. I need 53 more players like him on this team that don't quit that have pride and that see this as an opportunity to not quit on your teammates on your fan base and on your coaching staff that you at least have a little bit of pride left.. nobody wants loser talk nobody wants a loser mentality, a quitter, that's the type of attitude we need on this team, not laying down and being a loser...
