Overshown spotted in hometown at toy giveaway

'Tis the season for a lecture? Our players give back to the community whether they are injured or not.

And no, that was not the right attitude that Romo had and this doesn't compare to it at all. Nice try.
ITs the right attitude for an intelligent person who understands life
so I guess that goes right over your head

It was an "oh well" attitude and that's not something a leader admits publicly. Of course losing a football game and getting knocked out of the playoffs is not the worst thing that happened to you, that's obvious, but you don't say it out loud.

Some of the other players on the roster may have needed that extra playoff game check but Romo was like, "oh well." It's not the worst thing that's happened to me. Other players may have played their last game. Again, oh well. It's not me.

Overshown has shown me acceleration and burst only seen in the Big D by Micah Pasons and Tony Dorsett. I pray for his full recovery and the return of his magical response skills on the field.

About the guy who knew he had a broken rib and probably a punctured lung going back into a game

ANYONE that watched Romo play and think that sentence meant what some claim are total and complete IDIOTS.

Total and complete mean the same thing.

Pretty sure he came back and won that game too. I think it was one of our last 9er victories. Really wish we'd have played them later in the season this year cause despite it being a rough year, I'd love a win against those fools.

I think he makes it back by mid season next year.
I doubt that very seriously. If it was just an ACL tear, then maybe but he had every ligament ruptured. He’s going to need a full training camp preparing to play football, not rehabbing.

Turpin? Bullet Bob Hayes?? its in his name. Herchel was pretty darn fast...wasn't Dieon fast? I'm sure since 1960 we had more than just on your list..lol

Yes, Joey Galloway was fast:

  • 40-yard dash
Galloway reportedly ran a 4.18 40-yard dash in 1995, though the NFL did not recognize it.

  • Speed
Galloway was considered an "absolute speed demon" by some. Reel Analytics ranked Galloway as the 10th fastest player in NFL history, with a top speed of 21.8 miles per hour.

add TO he ran a 4.38 had plenty of burst and speed..

Just a matter of time before someone says, he's just doing it for the media and if he really cared, he would have kept it private....we'll, on second thought, i don't think we have any negative posters like that around here lol!.....I'm just ashamed that they made me think that way.
Shame on you for even thinking he did it for the publicity......it was for the tax write off. :muttley: .

Nice story, on the serious

I posted above not to shame him but lament and honor those silent heroes too. You may unleash your judgemental wrath upon me.
