He’s not playing this year - book it.

If the best they are hoping for now is thanksgiving then he’s likely not ready until Xmas and by that point it probably won’t matter…

They lie about injuries and rehab, and they have a crappy training staff and facilities as the players states in the recent survey.

He needs to play, need a good evaluation of his game after that injury. If he doesn't play and proves that he can hold up and still move, he's likely gone.

I get what you are saying but he's got three potential things working against him playing this year

1 the basic physical rehab
2 the mental element of the rehab and trusting the knee
3 the Cowboys potentially being out of or nearly eliminated by the time he could potentially return

Unfortunately most signs post to pup and then moving to IR and never coming off of it this year....the timing on it and severity of the injury just sucked

I never said he would be cut, I said he won't play in 2025 and would retuen in 2026

Exactly! If they rush him back though and he isn't ready and gets hurt again that would may end his career.

Nah it's actually 3 in 17 days. Thursday, Thursday and then a long week to the following Sunday. He misses the short week if he returns on Thanksgiving.

Actually it is 4 games in 18 days.
MNF on November 17, Sunday on the 23, T-Day game on the 27, another TNF on December 4.

The best ability is availability. It's meaningless if he's not ready and 100% prior to mid November. Rather have him miss 2025 than to come back this late when it may not matter.

Sorry. After our bye week we play Monday, Sunday, Thursday, Thursday.

Monday 11-17 to 12-4. Pretty sure that includes the first 3 games in 11 days and the 4th totaling up to 18 days.

For some reason, if we are injury free up to that point, we definitely will not be afterwards.

It is interesting the thread title says targeting Thanksgiving return but the Watkins post says Christmas. I love me some Overshown and are pulling for the guy but I don't see him back this year. He had a horrible injury, counting on him would be crazy.

We all knew he, as well as Diggs will start the season on PUP.
That is at least 6 weeks. They can activate the practice window. To be sure the players are ready to return. That is what 2 or is it 3 weeks now?
Anyway, he could be back as early as the Raiders game after the bye week.
I wonder if the T-Day game is a conservative estimate, or an aggressive one.
