Overthecap.com Comp Picks for Dallas is the following:

3rd Round Pick for Byron Jones
3rd Round Pick for Robert Quinn
5th Round Pick for Randal Cobb

Dallas could have three 3rd Round Picks giving them 5 Picks in first 3 Rounds nice
way to re-tool some positions

I went onto their site, they have us getting:

(3) Byron
(4) Quinn
(5) Cobb
(6) Heath

I don't know where you saw us getting 2 3rd rounders.

Collins and Heath hit incentives with the Raiders as well, could get another 5th.

Man, 2 guys DAL signed that didn't even play cost two 6th round picks. Oh well, looks like a good haul, and they better capitalize cause next year they getting a couple 7s haha.

Trade back and get more picks is my advice...gotta defense to build up.

Agreed, probably shouldn't waste millions of actual dollars, as well as cap room, on players who do not play a single down for you.

But all it would have changed was a slightly higher compensatory pick at the end of the 6th round. Approximately Pick 217 instead of pick 222.

The most any team can get is 4 picks.

I believe teams can only get a maximum of 4 comp picks per yr, so it really didn’t matter much

I think having those xtra picks in rds 3 and 4 are going to be very nice. Maybe even give us some ammo to move up in rd2 if need be.

Confirmed?

or just wishing?
Here’s the link and quote:
  • Dallas
    • If Maliek Collins’s contract is valued in the 5th round, Dallas will get a 5th for him instead of a 6th for Jeff Heath.
    • If Maliek Collins’s contract is valued in the 6th round, and the contracts of Jeff Heath, Ha-Ha Clinton-Dix, and Greg Zuerlein are valued in the 7th round, Dallas will get a higher 6th for Jason Witten.
    • If the contracts of Maliek Collins, Ha-Ha Clinton-Dix, and Greg Zuerlein are all valued in the 6th round, Dallas will not get a 6th for Jeff Heath, and an eligible 7th for Xavier Su’a-Filo will not make the 32 pick limit.

Thanks fellas, forgot about that part.

i think both Chase and Smith are too good to last till pick 10
Waddle, Pitts...I know Pitts isn't technically a receiver, but same difference. A top-10 big board could very easily be (in no order)

Lawrence, Fields, Lance, Wilson
Sewell, Slater
Chase, Smith, Waddle, Pitts

Waddle might be a fringe top-10 pick, but if the alternatives are, say, Parsons, Surtain, and Farley...it's hard not to make Waddle the pick if you're just going BPA

I must have missed it because I didn't even see Heath on the list and I do now oh well maybe I was cross-eyed or hoping
for that extra 3rd Rounder. I guess though an extra 3,4,5,6 can help fill some holes though
