Boy, wouldnt it be something if the Commanders get T O and he tears their team up like he did us. Who would love to see that. I know their guessing at what teams, but wouldnt it be funny?

Terrell Owens-WR- Bills Mar. 22 - 4:29 pm et

The player rep for free agent Terrell Owens insisted Monday that he's had "active" discussions with three teams interested in his client.

Agent Drew Rosenhaus conceded that a deal might have to wait until just before camp, but we can be sure T.O. will report in shape. Rosenhaus added that there's "no set number" as to contract terms. It's hard to pinpoint who might want Owens, but we'd guess that the Commanders and Seahawks have discussed the idea, and wouldn't rule out the Pats or Raiders pursuing him.

when Dan Snyder found out we were going to sign owens in 06 he told rosenhaus he was going buy sean taylor a car if he knocked him out. He was really ticked off.

if they added owens to that locker room it would be a dream come true for this cowboys fan.

How do you tear up a team that is already screwed up?

In truth, I think Shanahan will turn them around, but I can't see him doing it with Owens in the locker room.

Father Time catches everyone eventually.

I think TO's skill set is declining quite rapidly.

No kidding?

For whatever reason, there seem to be quite a few posters who think he's still the pro bowl wideout we used to have a couple years ago . . . .

At this point TO becomes increasingly irrelevant each year. Its quite obvious from the very limited list of teams who have "alleged" interest in his services, and even who those teams are, that TO just doesn't have the upside appeal he used to have. He may be able to help some team yet but clearly he is not considered top tier anymore. That ended with 2008 in Dallas.

By the same token, he no longer has the same potential to divide a locker room either. Even at his peak that usually took a couple of years. Not sure he has even two more years in the league much less with the same team. And even if he does, he just isn't that powerful a force anymore.

I suspect that TO is becoming increasingly aware of it as well.

TO will never divide another NFL lockerroom. He's not good enough.

If I remember correctly, Denver was one of the only other teams wanting TO when we signed him. Maybe Shanahan wants to see if it would still work.

He looks old and slow off the line and out of his cuts.

This would be beautiful, especially if Grossman winds up starting for the Skins at some point during the season. That would be a dream come true with those two, at this stage in their careers, trying to lead an offense that has a poor O-Line.
