Hurd had one good training camp and a decent pre-season game, hardly something to get too excited over, unless you thought Wane McGarity was the next big thing too.

Not talking about the media, I understand what they are doing is ridiculous. I do, however, see him being a stop gap player and believe he will hurt the clubhouse. He is not and has never been a team player. I look at him like I do Bonds.

What has he done to hurt the clubhouse? Are you a fly on the wall taking notes? I think everyone is getting worked up over nothing. The Cowboys is a high profile team. Sadly to say, the Cowboys are a media magnet, good are bad. We're probably the most hated team in the league. And now we are somewhat competitive and could compete for a championship everone wants to bring us down including most of our own fans. Despite the media objective, which most of us understands, we should be united.

I see what your saying but other than Bryant have the Cowboys had a WR picked on the first day since Kevin Williams in the early nineties.

Even McGarrity was like a 4th round pick.
