Owens Shows Up to Off Season Workouts

In what I'm sure ESPN will consider a move aimed at destroying the Dallas Cowboys organization, Terrell Owens showed up to workouts at Valley Ranch to start to pick up some of Jason Garrett's system.

Surely it's a decision he made so as to get better aquainted with Garrett so he can rip his head off with his head during the regular season.

I'm glad he showed up. Maybe those idiots at ESPN will start to back off. Then again, maybe I'll win the lottery.

Well showing up for one's job isn't news.

I'll start a thread in the OT Zone, "I am showing up for work again today" and see what kind of conversation it generates.

Fact of the matter is, that a thread with the subject matter being about a guy who showed up for work, indeed is already a statement about Owens.

Now...that comment should get the ball rollin'

Oh, and for the record, one more reason is probably that the thread title was changed from an invitation for TO bashers to pile on, to what it was really about. See the 2nd, 4th, and 7th posts and you'll see evidence of this.

TO is the best WR in the NFL, he will show you this year, he will make you forget about all others, even Terry Glen will have to stop and watch. He will be uncovereable, he will catch the ones he dropped last year, he lead the league in touchdowns--the first one handed wr to do so I might add. You may not like him but you will admire him..

I was confused myself... I was sure I'd put up an ESPN-style headline where they're ready to bash Owens for anything little thing he does.

Fact is since he was signed, the guy has done nothing bad to this organization. The worst thing was admitting he was thinking about his birthday party. The rest, differnces w/ the WR coach, they settled it. injuries...well heck he can't help that.

He lead the league in TDs. And people will whine about the drops, but realizing that he played the season w/ a messed up hand makes me feel better about the drops. Most of the passes he dropped were probably b/c of his hands (though some were piss poor passes).

Despite ESPN's hardest, there was NOTHING to TO and no he did NOT implode the organization as they'd predicted either. If anything the team seems stronger even going into a new season with a new coaching staff.

anyway...that was the aim of the post hehe. Pro-Owens, slightly Anti-ESPN

I want to take this time that I showed up to work on-time AND didn't fall asleep, or text my friends, during meetings at all this week.
