To say Owens has struggled at times is an under statement. In so far as he was an expensive signing that came with high expectations.

Sure, his numbers are "solid", but certainly not dominant especially considering his past track record. To date, I have been a supporter of Owens and the signing. Ahhh, but here comes the litmus test.

I am under no illusions that this will be an easy win based on the trials of the Gints. In fact, I am worried. Wounded animals tend to not just lay down and let you finish them off. Beware the wounded Giants.

Back to Owens, he in my opinion is the key to the game. We will need some key grabs and perhaps a couple of "BIG" plays. It is time for him to show why Jones paid millions for him.

He has to be near perfect with no drops. Restore my good faith in you T.O.

I hope after what Plax said about him taking a dive last time he will come motivated, and focused for a classic game. I would run a flea flicker the first play of the game as they will be so jazzed up on D.

It sure would be nice to see Owens get a couple of plays with 30+ yards run-after-catch.

Are you kidding? Despite a few drops, Owens has been thriving with Romo.

Just a little tidbit.

If you averaged TO's numbers from the past 5 games over the entire season, he would be the #2 receiver in the league in yardage and tied for the most TDs. He has been playing exceptionally well since Romo came in (well, heck, everyone has). It's hard to blame TO for Bledsoe sucking so bad.

His stats are "fine". His drops have not been. Also, many of his TD's have been with us winning already. None of his performances this year (except maybe Houston) could be called game changing.

My simple point is that T.O. needs to be a "difference" maker in this coming game.

Regardless of Romo or Bledsoe, he is still 12th in yds, and 2nd in TD's. This is an offense that has spread the ball around from day one. And even more so with Romo at QB. We are balanced with the running game, and TO will not lead the league in recieving in Dallas. It's just a fact. We are way to balanced and talented for one guy to completely dominate. We are not the Eagles.

I want to see a TO/Plexiglass all out street fight... I bet TO would put a serious beat down on him!

I also think TO shows up huge in the game Sunday, Go Cowboys!!

If you're waiting for a perfect, no-drop game from TO then you might as well give up now cuz it ain't happening. "Hands" have never been his strong suit. He will always drop his fair share of balls. This was discussed ad nauseum when we signed him.

TO's value comes from big plays and the YAC.

What I want is a game changing performance. We will need one soon, perhaps this Sunday.

TO is known to come up in big games. Well, tomorrow is a big game and Burress already called him out.

Then again, the Eagles game was supposed to be big. Of course they sent the entire army out to stop Owens, and that alone was a big plus for the Cowboys. Just couldn't overcome Bledsoe and Watkins.

I agree. That he can deliver. Just don't expect no drops.

Look the guy changes the game everytime he steps on the field. Why do you think guys like Crayton and Hurd have had some success? Teams have to game plan for him. What does he need to do? Only catch TD's when we are behind. Then you'll worry about why he isn't getting a TD on the first drive of every game, so we aren't behind.

Another good point.

Romo also has a flair for the dramatic (unlike Bledsoe) so I think he will try to let Owens make a big play .....

I also think he will allow T.O. to get revenge on Philly at christmas.
