Take it for what it is worth but someone emailed me a link to a report on Salsports.com that is reporting a source close to the Buffalo Bills has informed me that the team is in the process of trying to secure a meeting with free agent wide receiver Terrell Owens. Many times we don't report such spurious reports but Profootballtalk.com is also reporting and says there is additional information trickling in corroborating this report so we are posting it.

In our mind this doesn't make much sense but here it is.

The Bills are very interested in signing TO. This is not a rumor. The only way Buffalo dosent sign him is because TO is so inundated with requests for visits that he just does not have the time to visit all potential suitors. After all he is a future HOF receiver in the prime of his career.

TO is going to do whatever he can to end up with a superbowl contender. A ring is the one thing missing from his resume, and don't think he isn't aware of it.

He would only settle for a team like Buffalo if forced to, and I don't think that will happen.

I seriously doubt that any contender would consider TO. If they feel they are close, they don't want to deal with the distractions he brings.

Well, you need to create attention for your team? T.O will certainly do that for you and Buffalo needs it. Don't forget Marshawn Lynch hasn't been a choir boy and they sucked that up. That team is also on the brink of selling every other year so you need to create some kind of jazz to market it.

Say what you want about T.O's attitude and history throughout this league but the man is always up there in jersey sales. People are willing to fork over their cheddar to get a piece of Eldorado.

Well, those rumors about Terrell Owens landing in Buffalo are more than rumors.

Jay Glazer and Alex Marvez of FOXSports.com report that Owens is at the Bills’ headquarters, and the Bills are trying to get a deal done.

Per Glazer and Marvez, Owens is scheduled to leave today.

Would much rather see T.O. in exile (Buffalo) than somewhere like N.Y. or D.C.
