Just saw on Jay Glazer twitter that has been retweeted that the Indy Radio Host reporting Manning had another procedure on Sunday and maybe out for season!

I think Peyton Manning might be done for his career. [/wildbaselessstatement]

He needs to do the smart thing and retire. Nothing left to play for.

I do too. What team gives a guy a monster contract extension while he is recovering from an injury anyway?

He'd be a great on-air personality. He has a good sense of humor.

Andrew luck it is for the colts. I thought we were having a bad day with Tyron and mike going down.

Well, there is that 100 million dollar contract he just signed.

What's another $100m when you already have more than that in the bank? It's not worth the risk of spending the rest of your life in a wheelchair or a lifetime of severe neck pain. He's got the money, he's got the ring, he's a done deal for the HOF.

that makes what, 4 neck procedures now? Not worth risking permanent damage.

I thought I read earlier that we were in the run for Luck. Stop trying to give our future QB away, lol.

Peyton Manning, QB IND
News: WDNE-AM in Indianapolis is reporting that Colts QB Peyton Manning has undergone another surgical procedure on his neck and is in danger of missing the season. This is the second radio report from Indianapolis in less than a week that has suggested that Manning will not play in 2011. Manning has been ruled out for Week 1 at Houston already as he has not rehabbed quickly enough from neck surgery in May. "It will be tough not to be out there playing for the organization and our fans," Manning said regarding missing Week 1, per ESPN. "I simply am not healthy enough to play."

Except for the love of the game.

That's all warm and fuzzy under normal conditions. Not when it comes to your neck.

Man this sucks. Strap in that chin strap Romo, looks like you're our QB for the year.

It is not your neck or my neck. It is his neck and if he feels it is worth it, then who are you to tell him no.

I don't think anyone is telling him no unless he stinks when he comes back. It's just my opinion that it's not worth the risk.

My wife, who has neck problems, said she believes he's done too. Just her "gut" feeling based on the pain she has experienced in that department.
