I didn't really win anything but she already cooks every night and she is the one pushing for "other" stuff every day. About all that's left is getting out of going to her Mom's on Thanksgiving...

I did a consulting assignment at Diageo in Norwalk, CT. Lobby looks like a high end liqueur store, there is a bar on the top floor with free happy hours every Thursday night. The upper management (from the UK) watched soccer matches at 9am in the bar drinking beers. People with push carts spend all day giving out airplane mini cocktail bottles. Not really sure how any work got done there at all...lol

My wife sells for Diageo and I can't even tell you how many trips they've sent us BOTH on. They used to sponsor a getaway weekend called the "Circle of Excellence" for their highest level sales people. Absolutely phenomenal getaway. The first year we went to Tuscon and stayed at The Ventana Canyon golf resort (comped rounds all weekend). Beyond the comped rounds they had a company tourney for those that wanted to attend (EVERY SINGLE GUY) and if the ladies didn't want to play they sent them to an all day spa treatment at the resort. Went to a party on Saturday night, came back from the party and in our rooms were brand new Tommy Bahama golf shoes for the men (for the next day's tourney) and the women got Tommy Bahama sandals plus they gave us each $100.00 gift cards for use at the resort. I think the second year we went to Sedona and stayed at a resort where each couple had their own casita (Again unlimited comped golf rounds at the Sedona Country Club and ensuing tourney on Saturday) . After that party we returned to find Oakley sunglasses for the men and the women got Tiffany bracelets and 2 $100.00 Visa gift cards in the rooms. They sent us to Banff, Canada (Crown Royal distillery), Tequila, Mexico to the Jose Cuervo distillery. Great place to sell for for a good stretch there. They've since gone a little Scrooge on those types of perks. But they were a hell of a lot of fun for a minute, there.
