I liked how Norm said, "Well next time we'll just put a skirt on him (Favre)!" What else did they expect anyway? On that play they were running 5 WR with no TE's or RB's. If they keep doing that, Favre is going to get hit. Favre should have (and I think he admitted he missed it) noticed that we were showing 6 rushers and ended up rushing 5 including one of the extra corners and leaving single coverage on the receivers. Don't blame the Cowboys because Green Bay couldn't do it's job and got it's quarterback hurt. I'm amazed that as much as they've been playing 4 and 5 wide all season he hasn't gotten hurt earlier.

anyone else listening to the postgame show hear that Packer fan ranting?

claiming the hit by Nate Jones on Favre was a dirty hit, and we were doing all we could to knock Favre out of the game...

Norm was ripping him and asking him to tell us what Jones did that was wrong or illegal....

the response..."you must have not seen the same replay i saw..." ???

boy talk about trying to pull out all the stops to make us look bad, to say we were intentionally trying to hurt him

its pretty typical...they had nothing but sour grapes when were owning thm from 93-96...they said it was a league conspiracy to have games in Dallas all the time, whined about calls (who can ever forget the "pick" play in the 95 championship where Deion caught a crossing route and ran after...its the same play Mike Holmgren's offense had been running for years in SF and GB, but it was should have been a penalty since we did it)...its just the way they are

Below is the play and the re-play of it.

That is a very legal hit and there isn't anything dirty about it. Nate Jones was a blitzing, kamikaze mad man yesterday.

The funny thing about that hit was when Brett was on the sidelines and one of the linemen came over to look at his arm and he was like, "dog gone it"....that was a perfect play call and Brett made it worse by trying to pump fake

They can do no wrong, and everybody is out to get them.

5 WR's............That is why Jerry Glanville, with his fun and shoot is no longer popular in the NFL..........

It gets Qb's ER time..........you cannot protect them

vs Favre: 27-10

vs Rodgers: 10 - 17

Honestly, I am a little upset that Jones knocked Favre out......I wanted Romo to completely destroy the old man in a complete game thrashing.

Yep, any Packer fan should be thanking his stars that Favre got knocked out of the game. He was completely lost in space last night. If he would have stayed in the game it could have been a 52-10 kind of game.

I was thinking that when I saw Favre going to the sideline. We were in Favre's head after getting knocked silly on almost every play. I always get nervous when backups come in because it changes completely what the defensive game planned against and I have seen too many times backup QB's come in and have great games in relief of the starter.
