Can anyone remember a trick play called by Garrett? I can't .
Well, maybe, just maybe, he thinks that's beneath him. He likes to go against the grain. Heck, even Parcells called on the ol' flee flicker with success. You know, for someone that appears to be a football philosopher and someone who appreciates the fundamentals of the game, he sure does make a lot of decisions that are not consistent with these beliefs. Really, he is the antithesis of this. This guy....well, I want to believe in him so much, but he continuously makes me doubt his capacity to be successful as a head coach in this league. I say this even when we win, because sometimes this team wins despite its head coach. Yes, that's a sad thing.
