Apologies if I offended any police. I may have exaggerated a bit for dramatic effect....

Don't know any personally. It's just a divisive subject, and every cop I've ever met seem like nice understanding individuals just trying to do a job.

Back to the topic on hand. Green Bay seems to be coming into the game with a few distractions. Not ideal.

Have you ever been to Green Bay? You'd smoke too.

I have a RPG developer that lives about 20 minutes outside of Green Bay. SHE is crazy and has a rough personality for a woman hah. Lets just say, she doesn't have a filter on what she says. hah

I know someone who once opened the door completely naked ... for Jehovah's Witness.
I won't... Cant tell you what they said to them.

True story.

Funny,I've answered the door when they've be knocking in my underware and a can of Budweiser in hand,,,hell, they came inside both times that happened,,, true story.

What kinda' 'justice' (that's supposedly being upheld ) is it to have sit on it for damn near 3 months, and then the prosecution is like 'slam!, we've got to eradicate this Scourge that is the evil weed'
(To be fair, some strains of that stuff have surpassed the basic levels of evil.)

Hahaha

The criminal complaint says Shields opened the door to his residence holding "a blunt" and investigators, who were given permission to search the home by Shields, said they also found "several jars of green plant material that was consistent in appearance with marijuana."

Took 3 months? Sounds like they could've just walked up to his door to save themselves the time. :D

Not much of a story. He's been out since Week 1 and from all indications the Packers have moved on and plan to cut him in the offseason.

I'm a little surprised.

I thought it was commonly understood that all these kinds of things are quietly swept under the rug in Green Bay.

In many way Green Bay is a epitome of a 'company town' -- a NFL franchise plunked in a large town of 100,000 people.

Essentially, I expect the Police Chief to be a direct line report to the Packers front office.

So, I am surprised a bit.

IF it was Ray Nitschke or Bart Starr or Brett Favre and they got pulled for drunk driving do you think they would've ever got arrested? Of course not. It's not racism per se, it's just the fact that cops these days tend to be more strict IMO. Cameras around every corner will do that. If they don't do their job to the letter of the law, they could lose their job and no pro athlete is worth that.
