Packers coach Mike McCarthy wants Dallas again?

After the game, Packers’ Coach Mike McCarthy said that Dallas was further along than Green Bay. He said this was “a fact”, and while many media and fans took it as McCarthy being amiable towards the Cowboys, he, in my honest opinion, was being passive-aggressive and spiteful about the loss.

I base that on what McCarthy said after he made his initial comments when he furthered them by saying something like: Hopefully we'll clean some things up, get better and see the Cowboys again down the road.

I’m tired of these types of coaches who don’t have the balls to say what they really feel and try to sugar-coat their feelings behind their passive-aggressive back-handed comments.

Really McCarthy? Do you really HOPE to see Dallas again down the road?

Please spare me!

Does McCarhty honestly think that Green Bay stands a real chance to catch up to Dallas by playoff time? But what if Dallas gets better too? Has McCarhty forgotten to game-plan that into the equation also, because, in that game that I watched, Dallas played sloppy at times on both sides of the ball, but the Cowboys still managed to whip the "Cleveland-Browns-like" PRETEND-team packers up and down the filed! Really!

Honestly, where does McCarhty come off hoping that he plays Dallas down the road?

No sir Mr McCarthy; if anything Dallas is hoping to play YOUR PUTRID PACKERS down the road; that is, if you first scrape that road-kill team of yours, the one that Dallas left on the side of the road, and then find your way back onto it.

Really!

Agreed, the Eagles and their blitzing schemes make me far more nervous than the Packers. I wouldn't mind playing the Giants either. Obviously, for the revenge factor, but also because I don't think they're nearly as good as everyone is making them out to be.

They were spewing the same thing after last years loss in Dallas. "Wait til we get them up in Green Bay!" Blah Blah Blah

I live in Green Bay and they have all been saying this week that a healthy Green Bay is as good as the Cowboys. Whatever.

The better team won and if they meet again, the better team (Cowboys) will win again.

Since we now have tie break on them, the next meeting would probably be in Dallas (assuming we win our division of course).

We would beat them like a rented mule in Texas Stadium!!!

What's he supposed to say? "Maybe we'll get lucky and they'll lose in the playoffs so we don't have to play them again."?

I don't blame him. To be the best you have to beat the best. Hell I was hoping as many Cowboy fans were for another shot at the Pats last year.

What would you expect a coach who thought his team was better than it really was to say?

I hope they do meet again, because it is so much fun to beat the Packers. Packer fans are real football fans, and they are a lot of fun, especially when their team gets beat by the Cowboys.

considering the fact that if we would meet again it would most likely be the NFC championship game.....

Hopefully the cowboys will play them again and prove the victory in Lambeu was no fluke. Fact is, we have a better QB. Better backs, defense, and a massive OL that can ware down their D-line. The cowboys are just overall better. I hope theres another meeting. It will further the rivalry between both teams.

I don't see no problem watsoever wit the coach saying the cowboys were further along and he wished to see them again.

In mah mind he be humble and exhibited sportmensship and all.
If you think the coach was disrespecting the Cowboys I think you are wrong.
And dont you go losing sleep over it cause that coach is focused on his next rival, and until the playoffs come, it won't be no Dallas Cowboys until playoffs times and not in the frozen ford tundra. It will be played in Texas Stadium and all my rowdy friends will be there and rooting for America's Team, by heck!
OK, and let me say this: next time these two tems meet it will be more of a blowout. It will be like 48-17, if you know what I mean.

I don't see anything wrong with this. In fact, that's how it should be. To be the best, you have to beat the best. They should want another crack at us. If the lose that game, they should want us again next year.

This time around, Manning won't be throwing the ball against a corner like Reeves before half time.
