Packers dissect mistakes made in Dallas.. "We could have had this game easily"

This is the same response the Cowboys had after we lost to the Pats. I'm sure the Packers feel that they were capable of playing a better game just as the Cowboys feel we could have played a better game vs NE. I expect Dallas and the Pack will see each other again and I expect a tough game from them.

We weren't ready to play the Pats yet. When I looked at the schedule back before the game, I wished the Pats game would have been later in the season, to give the Cowboys time to learn how to be an elite team.

I take nothing away from the Pats I think they are a very good team but I agree with you that Dallas has improved since that time. I hope we get a chance to go up against them to show the people around the NFL that the Cowboys are the best team. I know one thing we can’t make the mistakes that we did the 1st time around. We had 12 flags in that game some that helped to keep Pat drives alive.

FRANK & BEANS!!!!

That's the Packers for you.

Nobody ever beats them. When they lose, it's always because they beat themselves.

I can tell you though, around here, all the Packer fans are very optimistic about the chances of beating Dallas if the two teams face off again this season. They are happy with the way Green Bay came out in the second half, and they state that once all their starters are back, they will win a rematch.

Had Woodson been playing, they state their original bump and run defense would have stopped Romo, as well as KGB putting pressure on Romo non-stop.

They look forward to another shot.

Packer fans on the whole are, barely, functionally ********. They might be the third most annoying fan base in the NFL behind the Skins and Steelers.

They can look forward to a rematch as much as they want. They were dominated in that game, and they're too zealous to even realize it. I can't imagine them thinking they can man-up on this offense and be successful next time. They'll get killed if they try it. They showed in the second half that they can't handle us in zone, either.

Their only chance would be to match scores against us, which means they'll have to keep players in to protect and convert the short stuff. Sooner or later we'll either burn them on that or hold them short of the endzone and start winning the possession trade offs 4 points at a time. Either way, they're not in our league this year.

I hope we do meet them again with a healthy Farve. We'll win by more than 10 pts. :D

What a one sided article

Besides 4 big plays for them, we DOMINATED them.

62 yard TD run.
Missed tackle by Jones on Jennings for like 60 yards.
Dropped TD pass turned INT
Dropped pick by Watkins

Not just that, but the obvious drop for a td by owens.

Then the drive before the half we are moving along and romo and witten have two mishaps and misread each other and we punt, and they score.

Then the first drive out of the half, We are rolling along and on first down romo has witten in the post for what would have been a walk in td, but he threw it behind him for some reason, another witten-romo misread.

We left alot on the field.

oh and the biggest point being left off the packers excuses.....

Gregg ellis and chris canty said they didnt watch one second, not one second of film on Aaron Rodgers, he was a complete mystery. The whole week was about stopping favre, and forcing him into mistakes.

I have a strange feeling that if both teams are lucky enough to meet again rodgers wont be a mystery.

Oh and um the other point about how all three of their td's occurred on drives where we commited penalty's after actually stopping them, thus the drives continued on our mental mistakes.

but hey. We are lucky.
