Packers/Eagles Game

What's interesting is if the Packers had followed the highly intelligent philosophy of Jerry and Stephen, where a 1st round pick MUST. START. NOW., they wouldn't have Aaron Rodgers as their QB right now.

It takes a little foresight. This GM thing.

The Packers never even had Rodgers in their sites on draft day they thought he would be long gone by the time they picked. When the players they had targeted were gone they said "what the heck." Favre had been hinting around about retiring every year so they figured they could develop Rodgers for when Favre moved on.

There was a real arrogance in Philly over the Eagles this year. It went up a notch the last couple of weeks.

I knew they had little chance to win this game but to get absolutely blown out of the building is extra sweet.

"To me Rodgers arm strength is enough to beat the blitz. He can the ball on the money to his guys on their first cut. They haven't run any thing special today to counter it. Rodgers is just getting it to the open guy every time."

@Alweezy.....I guess if its all Rogers then mimicking their offensive scheme is a moot point. I was hoping the Packs were calling quick slants, screens, draws, keeping an additional blocker in the back field, etc...

Right. An opportunity presented itself and they pounced on it. They didn't worry about how he fit the first year. How much production they'd get from the pick immediately. They were thinking long term and working the draft the right way.

Meanwhile Harry and Lloyd at Valley Ranch tell us a 1st round pick must be projected to start immediately.

The Cowboys are 7-3. Sorry about that. The GM likes it.

Was Bill Parcells Harry or Lloyd?

Their fans had completely written off Detroit and Dallas and pegged themselves as the NFC favorites. I want this lead to go up by another 30 points.

You replied to KJJ without even getting a "like"? lmao You're slipping big boy!

I have to crash this thread to say the Packers Unis are UGLY
Aikman with that stubble looks hotter than I've ever seen him in my life. Wow.
The Mark Sanchez I expected has arrived.
The Packers are the only team I fear in the NFC. That includes the Lions.
The end.

Completely written off the Cardinals too and they already beat them. But the Cards' lost their QB so they're no longer relevant.

Wait. Didn't the Eagles lose their QB too?

Yeah, but they have Mark Sanchez. They won't skip a beat.

This was the game that was going to show the path to the Super Bowl in the NFC runs through Philadelphia. That's how it was sold by the fan base this week.
