Really looks like Packers only thing standing between the Boyz and homefield in the NFC.

I think we are the better team, the Packers cant run for chit. Farve tossing the ball 40+ a game is bound to catch up to them.

What do you guys think, is Packers for real and could challenge for #1 seed? I sure would hate to have to go to Lambeau in January for the NFC Championship.

We better win that matchup in Dallas later in the year or we could be screwed come playoff time.:)

I think they are for real. Their D is very good and Favre is playing better than I've ever seen him play. He reminds me of an old Tony Romo.

I think we are the better team though.

The Marketing Suits at Fox are salivating about a week of Farve/Romo hype.

On a related note: I watch todays game in a bar :D My wife commented that Dallas game had way more commercials than all the others. Seems like the Greenbay game had but three commercials while the Dallas game was a non-stop "this is our country..." fest.

I laugh at you Packer believers. I really do. Come week 14 Packers will not be thought about in the same sentence as "home field advantage". I promise u that.

Good. Laughter is good for the soul and the body. According to those commercials it adds 8 years to your life.

blah blah temper your enthusiasm blah blah haven't played anyone blah.

From what we've seen so far - there is no challenger in the NFC. Noone is even close to displaying the kind of dominance we have been on a consistent basis.

And if there were - IMO, it wouldn't be Green Bay.

It would be Seattle.

How many times does a team just come out of nowhere to become great? There is usually something that happens for a team to do that. Think 99 Rams. They get Mike Martz and Marshall Faulk, and stumble upon Kurt Warner. And draft Torry Holt.

Saints just had an emotional ride not to mention teams couldnt figure out the combo of Bush and Duece.

Other than those two circumstances you have to earn your way to the top. As i look at the Packers roster, I dont see a Reggie Bush, Marshall Faulk, Torry Holt. I see basically the same team from last year that has'nt played in a big game yet. Just wait until teams start taking the Packers seriously. We are gonna beat the Packers in the same fashion as we beat the Dolphins. Im sure this wont be a popular statement, but it is true.

Commanders>>>Packers.

sorry

Seattle did look good today, I sure would hate to have to go back to Seattle in the playoffs again. They cheat just as bad as the Pats.

I agree.

I've watched every Packer game and they are not as good as Dallas.

Game 1: Philly scored 16 points on Green Bay. Favre had a bad day and the only reason Green Bay won was because they scored 10 points off muffed punts on Philly. If Philly doesn't muff those punts, the Eagles win. They got lucky.

Game 2: Total blowout by the Packers in NY. Favre had a great game and the Giants couldn't do anything.

Game 3: San Diego, playing in Green Bay, had a 4 point lead and the ball with less than 3 minutes remaining. They could not get the 1st down needed to kill the clock. GB gets the ball back and pull ahead on a 57 yard seam pass for a TD. You had to see that pass to believe it. There were 3 Charger defenders right there and all three were watching the receiver instead of the ball. Even if one defender had turned toward the ball, it was an int. They got lucky.

Game 4: Minnesota was in GB territory alot but just could not punch the ball in for a TD. They had to settle for FG's. Minnesota was 30 yards from tying the game at the end, but an int. ended the threat.

My point is that Green Bay has been getting lucky breaks. They could easily be 1-3 right now but the ball has bounced their way. They run a lot of 4 receiver sets and thrive on the seam pass. They have no running game whatsoever. If a decent defense can shut down that passing, they'll lose every time.

On the other hand, Dallas has been blowing out teams. The Rams defense is ranked higher than Green Bay's so if Dallas can put up 35 on the Rams, they should be able to put up more on Green Bay.
