After a complaint on May 23 and a subsequent investigation, Packers RB Josh Jacobs was arrested this morning and booked into Brown County Jail on five charges: battery/domestic abuse, criminal damage to property/domestic abuse, disorderly conduct/domestic abuse, strangulation and suffocation, and intimidation of a victim.

The baseline NFL suspension for domestic abuse is 6 games. The Packers/Cowboys play in game 6.
IF, IF any of these are true........he probably has played his last game in a Packer uniform. Noticed they have completed enough of an investigation to support charges.

Truth is, packer fans will overlook this horrible crime. Zeke never ever done anything like this. Not close. Yet Zeke will probably be viewed in a worse light. I guess its because its Dallas, not a speck on the map like GB. Nobody cares as a result. That said, the law still cares. JJ might be cooked playing in the NFL. This is a terrible look. I hope the victim is OK. Abuse and intimidation is never OK. Something probably had been building up for a while. Time will tell.

Agreed. Hes likely done. In any uniform. No team wants to be seen as being OK with dv.

Agree.......don't see this happening.....yet. I think they will wait and see if it's resolved by before the season starts.

The NFL Commissioner's Exempt List is a special, paid leave status used for unusual circumstances, typically when a player is facing serious felony charges or allegations of violence. The designation temporarily removes a player from a team’s active 53-man roster while investigations unfold, without penalizing the team's roster limit

Investigation needs to be done and the facts need to be verified, but if Jacobs is truly guilty here the league needs to ensure that his career is done.

This stuff happens far too often and I'm tired of giving guys second chances after these events. Not commiting domestic violence is a pretty minimal ask out of an adult human. A zero tolerance policy is the only acceptable policy.

Well said.

Packers fan here. If he did what they say he did, Bye Mr Jacobs. But in this era of craziness I would wait until the facts are known.

When I first got married my wife and I were having a really big argument, Screaming and yelling but nothing physical. In the middle of it I had to go meet my boss at a job and I could not be late. My wife said she would be moved out when I got home. I said, well I will just take your car keys and you won't be going anywhere. Wife did not like that so she picked up the phone ( a land line back then) and called 911 and said "my husband is trying to kill me" and slammed the phone down. . I laughed at her and said she was faking it and did not call anyone. I waited about 10 minutes before I left and got in my car. I noticed multiple cop cars coming in but kept driving. One cop car followed me to where I had to go meet my boss. A few minutes later the car left. I was terrified. Found out later, SWAT was called and I left just at the right time. Someone came to the house and my wife told them everything was fine and they better not bother me while I was working and she was just mad. This was before the time when someone had to go to jail. Still, she could have buried me and if I had been arrested I would have been guilty just by the accusation. I will wait before I judge Jacobs.

End of the story. I am 36 years in with this crazy woman and she is the love of my life. LOL. We can laugh about it now.

OK that is a little...
huh

but if they have filed charges, then they have more than what you did
there had to be some tape or bruises on the female or something like that

Did Jacobs take Parsons out for Nachos after he got out?

Crazy how much more attention Dart is getting over a guy who beats up his spouse.

Will Jacobs have to have a locker room chat with the team? Will leaders have to speak up?
