Packers signing Preston Smith

$13MM is a bit pricey but the Packers knew they had a pass rush problem and went about addressing it.

I suspect our front office doesn't really believe we have any real holes.

Soon as I post this , would of been a great replacement for Gregory.. clown organization
He had 4 sacks last year. Play Taco regularly and he could probably manage that much.

Fans apseem to be making average players out to be significant players just because it was somebody besides the Cowboys that signed them.

Smith is better than Charlton and it's not even really close.

He's a very good edge player. Not elite obviously like Mack or Miller, but he's going to give the Packers a pass rush threat.

Fans seem to be making good players out to be insignificant players just so they can defend the flawed Cowboys approach to FA and roster building.

My gosh.....PLEASE don't ever mention 'Taco' again. Not until he does something, hell ANYTHING on the field. He's a complete bust at this point. Not even debatable. Maybe if he gets a heart transplant in the off season he can contribute. Glad he's 'quick twitch' though.

4 sacks yes but a lot of pressures. Taco is trash

I would dare say he probably would be better if he played LDE more often snaps wise. Although my idea of better is quite low for him. He flashed a few times his rookie year at LDE(all three of his sacks came from there).
If we keep D-Law long term, I doubt Taco is anything more than depth.

But yea, add in any attitude issues he had last year, and well I can definitely see why a lot are down on him.

You know what's really depressing about your comment?

The Cowboys front office probably thinks just that. They don't need help at DE and getting after the QB............ Charlton will provide that.

Well when the option is pay 14/m per for multiple years for those 4 sacks... why wouldn’t you roll with taco?
