Packers to hire Bisaccia for ST

So he is a nice hire for GB, but when he was here just about everyone hated him as ST’s coach and wanted him gone.

Typical double standards will apply.

I actually feel like we consistently had good coverage units under Biasccia and the drop off was noticeable when he left and O’Quinn took over in 2018 and 2019.

But yea for some reason he wasn’t popular here

He was a train wreck here and expect it to be a train wreck in GB

According to Rick Gosselin ST rankings, which I’m pretty sure most in the NFL respect, the Cowboys finished between #5-#13 under Bisaccia.

they were 28th and 31st under the great Keith O’Quinn when Bisaccia left.

Bisaccia is a good football coach. Nice hire by the Pack

Bisaccia as a HC would’ve been a disaster.

Some guys should stick to being a ST Coordinator. Like Dauber from “Coach”.

..lol.. poor guy, got the noose for that blocked punt. If they dont block the punt, GB wins. ST coach would still have job.

I had read that a lot of the Raiders stars really liked Bisaccia and weren't happy to see him go. In a toxic environment like the Raiders, getting your team to play hard is half the battle, and Bisaccia could do that.

Josh McDaniels is just a bizarre hire as well. He's been declining head coaching jobs for years to stay in New England. I never would have thought the Raiders job would be the one that gets him to jump ship. And speaking of toxic environments, McDaniels can be pretty toxic himself. His Denver team fell apart, and he really screwed Indy with a last-minute move that I haven't seen in the 4 years since.

I think that's a partnership fated to end in disaster. The goofy Mark Davis lookalike marrying the hot b*tchy cheerleader, right after rebounding for a few months with a chubby gal who the family liked and who thought his bowlcut was cute.

Yes O'Quinn was horrible. I think Biasccia was more hampered by lack of talent and depth than anything else come to think of it. O'Quinn, was also that everyone wanted gone even more than Biasccia.

- Packers special teams has been mediocre for some time,..at the bottom or among the bottom of SP grading rates and the HC never bothered to significantly improve it
and it finally took the SP disaster vs Niners in an monster upset that got them eliminated from playoffs after a sensational reg season year ...

- We valued O' Quinn supposedly because of his " quality assistant " coaching, and the in office buddy system with the Jones & Garrett. He was not a reputable SP coach at all.
and once eliminated from that role as SP coach, no other NFL team has dared come close to approaching O' Quinn with a SP coach role,..

Only this team valued him... Uggh !

Head Coach to ST Coach, huge step down, but if it makes you happy that is all that is important. Rather be in LV than GB though!
