They have beaten 4 teams with losing records, and they are matched against the AFC West and NFC South. I would love to see their SOS numbers versus ours.

we beat the Rams today and now we're questioning their schedule?

I thought the Chargers would be a challenge to them in 2 weeks but after seeing them today against the Jets, The Pack will be 8-0

Really? All I just wanted to point out is that they have had a pretty easy schedule this year.

To beat the Packers you have to force Aaron Rogers to make mistakes.

So far, nobody has come close. 20 TDs - 2 Ints. Dude's QB rating for the season is in the high 120's.

Crazy.

Their winning streak includes the Super Bowl. I think that gives them a slight edge. ;)

Lol, yup, that's how some of the minds work around here.

I was told last year before the season started that the Packers weren't very good and were overrated.

RandyWhite, are you there?

Aaron Rodgers is the best player in the game right now. The guy just does not make mistakes. Yesterday. He completed his first 13 passes in a row and his incompletions hit the receivers in the hands where they clunked it.

In regard to their schedule, they have found ways to win inspite of the yardage their defense has given up. While they are down at the bottom stat wise in regard to yardage, they are 9th in points allowed. The scary thing is, the Packers as a team still are not playing their best. Not even close. While Rodgers is playing lights out, the running game has been inconsistent and the pass rush is not near as effective as it was last year. Got a feeling after the bye, Capers is going to adjust a few things.

Still not expecting them to go undefeated, but this team is loaded.

Rogers is in the midst, quite frankly, of the greatest season any NFL QB has ever had in the history of the league.

He is the absolute prototype QB for the NFL's "spread offense-like" offensive trend.

Having said that, if the Cowboys somehow can make it to the NFC Championship game at Lambeau (presumably), the running game that the Cowboys displayed today is the perfect antidote (along with hopefully a massive snowstorm) to the Packers 3, 4, and 5 WR (counting Finley as a WR here) sets.

yea, part me would like the Packers to play a championship game inside on turf somewhere. The team already showed last year they can play on the road anywhere and win. Icebowl II in Lambeau. I could live with that and the same results. :)

Who cares how tough their schedule supposedly is or isn't?

There is one fact that matters. Did you win the games on your schedule? CHECK. They've done that.

They have no control over who they face but they do control rather they go out, play their butts off, and win those games.

They're doing that. To perfection at the moment in fact.

Insane the kind of numbers that guy is putting up. He's going to seriously challenge Tom Brady's TD number for a season I believe.

Of course, they've also beaten New Orleans and Chicago (in Chicago) this season. And yesterday was the first time they won by less than a touchdown.

But you're right about SOS. Going into yesterday, Football Outsiders had the following:

GB
Past schedule strength: 29th
Future schedule strength: 13th

Dallas
Past schedule strength: 2nd
Future schedule strength: 28th

Our split doesn't look quite so dramatic today, of course, after playing the Rams.

He is playing at an amazing level, no question about it. Again though, a lot of credit is due to his receivers. He has great talent around him. His has so many weapons it is almost unfair. No defense can play man-to-man and beat them, no way zone can stop them either. Their receivers always get separation and can take it to the house on any catch. I don't know of any team, past or present, that has had that much talent at the receiving level than GB has. Add to that a scheme that easily confuses defenses, and they look like they could score on every possession.

The only way to slow that is to get to Rodgers. But the guy makes better plays out of the pocket than in it. Add to that he is a threat to run too.

I still say Flynn or Harrell (not sure if he is still with them) could be really successful in that offense also.
