Just saw that and thought the same at 1st. There wasn't even an arrest involving Zeke. However, when you go on to read the NFL reasoning I found this part concerning:

"The NFL told Jones that it considered the "extensive video documentation of the tone, tenor and nature of your interactions with law enforcement at the site of your arrest, during transportation to the jail, and during the booking process." The league also said his actions reflected poorly on him, his family, the Bengals and the NFL.

Meaning the 1 game suspension had more to do with the image rather than the actual arrest. It's a very subjective and vague basis which the NFL can use. I can easily see Goodell saying to Zeke that a 1 game suspension for the "accumulation of situations you found yourself in that reflects poorly on him, his family, the Cowboys and the NFL."

It's bogus, but what Goodell wants, Goodell will do.

Just saw he got one game suspension for getting arrested and violating personal conduct policy.

Elliot has never been arrested. It will be intresting how many games he gets suspended for. If it's more than 1 game I think the Mara conspiracy holds water.

1. DV (wrongly accused or not this is a factor)
2. Topless Girl
3. Fight at Club
4. Criminal Speeding
5. Weed Dispensary

I have no doubt Mara/Roger are going to suspend him. How many games? I think 3-4 down to 1-2 on appeal.

Allegations of DV, allegations of fighting.

Visiting a weed dispensary in a state where it's legal is a bad look, but it's a complete non-issue. In fact, I'm irritated on behalf of NFL players that it's even a topic of discussion among rational adults.

Basically, he was an idiot with the girl, and he got some speeding tickets. There's no basis for suspension here unless anything else is actually proven.

Interesting choice of words indeed.

However, Pacman was arrested and pleaded guilty. Zeke has never even been charged with anything.

therefore, there are no actions to condone. The only thing they could suspend him for with that logic would be the parade thing, because that was on video.

The other things were merely accusations, which are basically worthless without evidence. Suspending him for that sets an entirely different, and dangerous, precedent.
