Pacman stories, or lack there of

Why was it that when Pacman was on our team the media seemed to have story after story about him, but now that he got cut, not a peep has been made since (hell, Quincy Carter is in the news more often it seems like now).

I also found it odd that the stories all just happened to be presented back to back to back during that time, causing all kinds of bad PR for us.

Maybe I'm reading too much into it

The media is what it is although I've got plenty of criticism to throw at it. And I wouldn't completely dismiss the idea that Adam Jones could be back either. What better way for Dallas to get 'Pacman' out of the news than to cut him? Helps him and the Cowboys. While I'm not convinced of a 'Conspiracy Theory' they surely helped Adam assuming he gets another shot somewhere. The media will start in again so I wouldn't bring him back here. JJ might have other thoughts.

Completely disagree, I think that jones cut Jones because it saved money on the cap to make necessary moves during the off season and also to get his draft pick from the titans back. I could Jones being added during the season for depth purposes at a cheaper contract with a no screw up policy. I actually wouldn't mind it he was the third best corner on the team last year and played in a limited role

This is your answer right here. He has, to this point, apparently managed to keep himself out of trouble but if he happens to get into some more, anytime soon, you can believe that he'll be in the news and it will be referenced with "Former Dallas Cowboy".
