PACMAN’S HOME FORECLOSED ON

Posted by Michael David Smith on May 28, 2008, 3:15 p.m.

Suspended Cowboys cornerback Adam “Pacman” Jones is apparently feeling the financial pinch of his sustained inability to earn NFL paychecks.

Fox 17 News in Nashville is reporting that a home Jones bought in West Nashville when he played for the Titans was foreclosed on last month. Jones’ lawyer, Worrick Robinson, says that’s a direct result of his NFL suspension.

“He has not played football in 18 months or so. That was his primary source of income that’s why it’s very important to him to be reinstated and get back on the field,” Robinson said.

The home was recently burglarized, and the TV station reports that real estate agents said a refrigerator and a pool table were taken.

Man, talk about a hard lesson.

The fines, the house, the loss of income, the attorney fees ..... millions.

His vices are expensive.

yea, when he was partying it up he thought the world would always be that way. in some ways, losing his house like this could be the best thing for him. nothing teaches you humilty like life can.

if he screws up his final opportunity the boy is just ignorance in motion. but i do think seeing "the other side" of the income table like this makes him realize how quickly being the "playa" can take it all away.

hopefully he's learned. if not, he'll be selling 3rd world crack cocaine on the streets in no time and playing hard to get at the prison dances soon after.

his choice.

This may sound cruel...... but I find it hard to feel sorry for a guy who was carrying around 80,000 in a trash bag, when a story comes up about losing his house.

For his sake, I hope he makes good on this second chance (if Goodell does reinstate him), because things will get worse from here if he doesn't.

I guess that puts the $20k marker into perspective.

"Hey, Rog, could you please not extend my suspension based on failing to pay a debt, the failure being a direct result of the original suspenion? K thnx."

How do you steal a pool table?

you pull up a u-haul in the night, and knowing no one is in there you and 5 other guys lift it up and take it to the truck

Then why steal just the fridge and pool table? If it were me I'd clean the place out.

One thing's for sure, if he doesn't 'get it' now, he never will.

This is as clear an example of learning a life lesson and getting a chance at redemption that we're ever gonna see.

Word. Maybe he should have opened up a few scrip clubs instead of attending so many in the year he wasn't being paid.

Well, At least you have a solid back-up plan in place for him! :)

All you need is a pool table to play and a fridge to keep your beer cold.

Could be that there was nothing else of value in the house.

More likely those were the only things Pac still owned in the house and he went in and got them before the house was foreclosed on ...and the rest of the stuff in these pics were just staged by the agents...
