the only reason the fight didn't happen was because pac-roids wouldn't take the test. why not just take the test if you have nothing to hide?
Who has more to hide - a man accused by the likes of an ego drive Mayweather, or a guy who is trained by a 60 year old man who looks like ..
Now if his trainer is able to look like that by 'working out', then what about PBF?
See how easy that was to make mindless accusations?
Fact is, PBF's test schedule would do absolutely nothing to actually find any trace of HGH, as his camp keeps claiming that Manny takes. Unless a blood test is taken within 24-48 hours of injection, there is slim to none in possibilities of actually testing positive.
Even more, outside of taking HGH with other substances (PED's, insulin, etc.), HGH would have little benefit outside of stamina increases and recovery rates. His strength, speed, weight, etc., would not benefit solely from HGH.
Further, if PBF was legitimate in his concerns to want a clean fight, he would know better than to ask for blood testing only 2 weeks out. If Manny were using HGH, his cycle would be long done by this time and the blood testing would be absolutely worthless. Manny could use HGH for as much as 2 months out of his fight and still reap the rewards of HGH use.
If you want to go even further into PED's, such as anabolics and amphetamines, the current urine testing system is completely more than adequate in detection rates. If PBF were concerned with something such as blood doping, request that the post-fight blood draw be done within a day after the fight to make sure Manny is clean.
Outside of year-round random testing, trying to find HGH use is like chasing someone in pitch black darkness. You may get incredibly lucky just run into a positive detection, but the chances are not in favor of that happening. And without use of other PEDs, it's pointless to even make a huge fuss over the substance.
And really, if PBF were
that concerned, ask that Manny's required blood sample be retained and kept for future years. A fighter can request a blood sample be tested again in the future if/when technology improves testing abilities.
In summary - Floyd needs to
shut the .. and fight. Stop being an egomaniac about your W-L record and fight. Stop trying to dictate to other fights what you think is proper testing protocols and fight. But moreso, just
shut the .. .
