Take the helmets off, 99% would not lead with their head
I wonder what injuries are common with Australian rules football and rugby if they aren’t wearing helmets yet?Take the helmets off, 99% would not lead with their head
I'm sure it happens but Noone is going to say they got one when they are fighting for a roster spotWhich brings up another question. When’s the last time somebody got a concussion in practice ?
Kind of make it bad PR don't ya think?Youre not wrong, but that 1% would be DOA.
I'll tell you why....because we root for the uniform and helmet. Why don’t they just keep those padded helmets all year, If it helps with concussions isn’t that a good idea?
Think of your brain, like the water inside a tanker truck. It will slosh around, and hit the walls when it is nudged or pushed. Now, with tanker trucks, they thought of an idea of putting dividers inside of the tank, to lessen the sloshing around, and it works. You can't really do that with your head. Now, wrap that tanker truck on the outside with bubble wrap. Is that going to do anything for the water inside the tank? The answer is no. This is all for show. It is dumb. Why don’t they just keep those padded helmets all year, If it helps with concussions isn’t that a good idea?
But cant do due to liabilitiesTake the helmets off, 99% would not lead with their head

I think they're ugly, but it's for safety. If fans are willing to put up with pick uniforms, then fans should not gripe about ugly helmets. I hate the pink uniforms for a disease that affects women??? Aren't there diseases that affect men that could be highlighted?? This is football after all!!!Those padded helmets are ugly, imho. Lotsa folks would complain about it not looking as cool -- like me! It's our trademark, after all.
So cushioning the impact does nothing. Okay.Think of your brain, like the water inside a tanker truck. It will slosh around, and hit the walls when it is nudged or pushed. The bike helmet is likely to keep you from cracking your head open or getting road rash. It is not going to do anything for the brain. So cushioning the impact does nothing. Okay.
I won;t wear my bike helmet from now on.....trust me.
Jeez man, it’s their brain not a fish tank. By that merit bubble wrap semi trucks. It’s not for show, but I also don’t think it’s an eye sore, it’s futuristic safety wear?Think of your brain, like the water inside a tanker truck.
