Good game to bring us into the regular season.
Great running game tonight, but the most impressive statistic?
0 SACKS ALLOWED, 0 TURNOVERS
Impressive what a decent O-line can do, huh?
Thompson made the team. Defense HAS to step up the coverage in the regular season.. Special teams needs some more veteran help. And for God sakes, cut Lynn Scott, and Jacques Reeves.
I'm still all for cutting/trading Quincy Morgan and signing Peerless Price.
Playmakers on the D-line?..
Greg Ellis makes plays.
Marcus Spears makes plays.
We know La'Roi Glover makes plays.
Chris Canty shows that he can make plays in the backfield and give run support with his speed.
We know Jason Ferguson can plug up holes and take two blockers.
Thomas Johnson is a fighter, playing through pain and made plays tonight.
Leo Carson still makes plays.
Eric Ogbogu and Demarcus Ware know how to disrupt a backfield.
Who in the blue hell do you cut from that? Ratliff, Coleman, and others make this a tough D-line to beat, in depth and talent.
