Unless Tepper offers life changing money, I doubt Quinn takes the bait.

I think the only real threat to a team taking Quinn from us is someone who has a veteran at QB. These teams with young quarterbacks like Bryce Young is not gonna have a DC as a Head Coach. They want someone to grow with their QB.

Stay away from that team.

Owner who ISN'T the GM but still bumps in and changes personnel deciions.

Possible #1 QB dud they traded a lot for.

I don't think DQ is desperate for a position, and will be selective.

If he was offered the DC job he would stay.
Yeah I don't get why he would rather be a DC under Quinn who will get full credit then be DC here and get full credit. Being DC here is a stepping stone to being a head coach. He will find himself like the Chiefs OC who can't get a job because they think Andy is the OC.

For some reason the forum logged me out of my profile so when I scrolled through this one of the first posts on this thread was from a poster I ignored at the beginning of the year. I have completely forgot about him but when I read his post I instantly cringed and then looked to see it was him. Couldn't log back into my profile fast enough lol...now his diarrhea post are disappeared once again.

Quinn may well leave but he's not going to the Panthers. Money's not going to make a difference there, he's been compensated well enough that he's not going to pick a cluster of a situation like that.

Washington might be very attractive to him if they're interested however. Super high draft pick, tons of salary cap, an ownership that wants a fresh start. That'd be a challenge and a place he could truly place his stamp. Get more worried (or excited) if they call.

Most of these coaches want to rise in the ranks. Especially guys who used to be head coaches. Comes with a better title and better pay. Quinn isn't going to be a coordinator the rest of his career. A lot of the vacant jobs are usually bad situations.
Jerry can open his wallet and pay Quinn a good wage to keep him. Sometimes coordinators want to say as coordinators rather than coach. Coaching comes with more risk and a revolving door every few years.
