I think we'll be able to survive not signing a guy who averages 13.3yds a catch for his career and managed 32 catches for less than 400 yds last yr

He's certainly not any better than Crayton, and with the minimal production in his career I'd say we can get a rookie or even someone like Miles Austin to do what he's done

I'm not gonna argue tit for stat about stats, but if you watched any of his games there's something there, but like I said hopefully we're able to get something good in the draft cause I'm tired of us not grooming a high talent WR on our team. I love TO's production but I want Romo to have a young talented WR to grow with like aikman-irvin, manning-harrison, or young-rice.

I think he's better than Crayton, if not JAG, he played very well when he was healthy. I had him on my fantasy team and never hesitated to plug him in if I knew he's be on the field.

I DEFINITELY think he's more talented than Miles Austin. Easily.

My main gripe was the injury problems he had this year, but if we had signed him, he'd be an instant improvement over whoever #3 would be next year.

I don't think he's better than Crayton, but I'm certainly glad he turned down Washington. I do like the player.

It seems like we play Carolina every year, anyway, though.

How overrated is a guy who gets 2 yrs 3.5 million.
If anything he got very little money based on his potential.

I actually think we would have been a great bargain for the boys. Another big fast target who is still young.

But I guess Jerry is totally refusing the sign FA's.

Panthers now have a nice combo at WR, too bad they don't have anyone who can get the ball to them.

I'd agree...I think the 'potential' on him is pretty great and a low risk gamble, IMHO...The problem, of course, has been his durability/health issue...The guy isn't on the field nearly enough and makes you wonder if he ever will be.

Still, would've made the draft a little more narrowly focused, had Jerry made a play for him...Oh well, at least he didn't get away because of money like Javon Walker.

Curious to see how he'll do paired up in Carolina...Might see a lot of good coverages opposite Steve Smith.

Moose and Hackett seem like a bit of overkill. Dwayne Jarrett must really suck.

I think he only played in 8 games last year, and that explanes his low numbers but it also is a statement that the guy has been injury prone. The fact that someone got him for that price may be a good deal, but as Parcells says, Let's flip that pancake over," it tells me that NOBODY else wanted him or he would have gotten decent money. That isn't much of a contract.
