Papa Joe: Jessica Simpson will arrive at Cowboys' training camp soon

I promised that I wouldn't blog about Jessica Simpson unless she showed up at training camp. Well, I've confirmed that she is coming to Oxnard, so that's good enough to me.
Papa Joe Simpson attended this afternoon's workout. Jessica didn't join him on the hour-or-so-drive from Encino, Calif., but Papa Joe said his daughter would be here "soon." She's a huge Cowboys fan who just happens to be dating the franchise quarterback.
"She's coming to the games this year, so you better get ready," Papa Joe said. "She's a fan from the beginning to the end."
Let's all hope that the NFL Films folks can talk Jessica into singing "You're My Sunday" for Hard Knocks. I'm sure Jerry would be happy to let here use the stage from Friday's opening ceremony.
I know you folks are more interested in reading about football than gossip/country music, so I asked Papa Joe for his thoughts on Tony Romo.
"He better have the year of his life," Papa Joe said. "I hope he does. He works hard -- always working his game, always thinking about it."

Were Jessica or father at last year's TC or the year before? No, but yet they claim to be big Cowboy fans. I want this TC to be about the Cowboys and their improvement not about the Simpsons. Other wives and/or girl friends aren't hanging around, so why do the Simpsons have to make an appearance? I think both (particularly big daddy joe) just want the publicity & is trying to be the center of attention. The last thing I want to see is Jessica hanging all over Romo with pictures of both of them plastered all the tabloids during TC. Is Jessica/her daddy that afraid Romo might make a break for it?

I have nothing against Tony having a personal life, or doing things with his off time.

However, Jessica and her father are like a drama train on the tracks, full steam ahead. Must they inject themselves into every aspect of his life?

True!! It does seem that other wives & girlfriends are there but will not be at training camp till next week. There was an interview this week explaining that & I am not sure where the link is. Yes they all mainly have SO's around the area but not at camp is my understanding. Didn't Kevin Burnett say he was packing kids & wife for Oxnard too?? He blogged that. I will look for link explaining that.

You know somethings coming so just be prepared folks. lol. Jones is not about to pass it up. I expect her there more towards the end. Wether you like it or not she still is a draw & as people start to leave & think they have seen enough they need something to draw attention again. Its life in celeb & sports world.

Actually not eagerness at all as I too would like her to be with other wives & girlfriends but I now will place blame on the bullying tactics of so called fans that will make that impossible for her to do. Hell the way some of these so called fans are talking then we are putting the wives & girlfriends at risk. Its friggin nasty but I will say anyone that threatens me or trys to bully me into not doing sometning just gets my back up a hell of a lot more & I would be doing just what Jessica is doing. When you hear people saying they will spit & god knows what else do you really want her to be with others. If we seriously think about this & move from the fun stage at the very beginning then we have not moved forward far if at all & the journalistic integrity as Tony would say is lacking. It is the journalists that feed this thing period not Jessica & Joe.
This would have died down ages ago if people like Tim& others out there in the sports world didn't feed it. They know its the draw period. Tony is telling you also he is sticking it out. When he says he knows that his life is going to be tabloids & magazines & craziness he's telling you he is not backing down either & will deal with it. I remember a comment at the beginning of this garbage when asked about Jessica etc he said something like you don't like it but it was what it is & to be with someone you just have to deal with it. That should answer your questions. Many of you won't listen to what Tony is telling you because you think he can't think for himself.
You & I all know that Hard Knocks has something up there sleeve here so deal with it people & you know it won't happen if Tony is not aware of it. Give the guy some friggin credit. He knows exactly what is going on & what is happening more than we do. Jessica would never in amillion years regardless of what you think not have a conversation with Tony about any of this. In the last two weeks before camp Tony put it out there for you to see & has been the most vocal to date. If she isn't there it will be because her & Tony discussed it (then watch the media fly) or she will be there & Tony & her discussed it & yes I am saying Jerry Jones too.
Through no fault of Jesicas you still got friggin reporters saying they want to see Jessica so there again we have bait set out.
When you talk about Jessica talking personal get real have you sat & listened to Elizabeth Hasselbeck or Kim Kardashian about there FB fellas. They do & I am sure there are other SO's that do too. Geiselle I don't think hardly talks to Tom so why would she address any media. lol Those men above just go with & never comment on what there wives or SO's are talking about. Kim has her own reality show for gods sake. This is Jessica & she is known world wide but it should make no difference on her being at camp & being supportive. The crazy fanas are bullying period & its scary. A happy man at home is happy at work guaranteed.
