Parcells always looking for a TE

I think some youth is needed at TE. Of course, you could say that at OL, WR and QB as well.

I don't feel its as big of a need as others and I don't think having two blue chips TEs will give you much in the way of match up problems.

And who, prey tell do you suggest that does the blocking in two TE sets?? Witten? Come on, he's a receiving TE...doesn't block that well. I always read your posts that says everyone sucks, but you never can say why...if it's just your opinion, then say so. Geez, to hear you tell it, everyone on the team should be playing sandlot.

Campbell catches what 5 passes a year? He's this blocking GOD? Well we can't run behind him and can't protect the QB with him. Lets change out our backup TE.

If you're looking TE that high, he damn sure better be a playmaker. Considering how much Witten was overlooked this year, I doubt another TE would really improve the team that much.

Great observation. Witten can't block, Campbell can't catch. I have to believe this is a smokescreen, because Witten can block given some coaching, and he can catch a lot better than most. Campbell is declining fast, but there are two TEs on the reserve roster that Parcells keeps around.

I don't understand where you are coming from? Campbell is arguably the best blocking TE the Cowboys have ever had and he brings great leadership in the locker room.
