Pretty cool.

It's odd hearing Parcells talk about the Cowboys as an outsider, after listenting to his press conferences for four years. Keyshawn too, but to a lesser extent.

About the "popcorn issue" is it really that big of a deal? I mean come on. The only thing that makes these celebrations "bad" is the media harping on them. Let it go if it upsets you so much.

good listen. Parcells admitting he probably should have started Romo all of last year was a little shocking.

Really didn't see the big deal with the popcorn incident. It was a 3 second celebration and a damn good one. Nothing like Chad Johnsons where he pulls out a script and starts to present a 3-act play.

Thought they were pretty fair in their evaluation. Keys point about the PI was spot on. If he wouldn't have put the hands on the shoulder it slides by as incidental. Even if it was incidental, as soon as you start putting hands where they shouldn't be when you are trailing a play, it looks really bad.

BP is a great announcer -- he's one of the only guys I've heard who is all about informative announcing.

He did say that there was considerable discussion about giving Romo the keys at the start of the season.

Later, I heard him say that Larry Allen was one of the best guards he'd had. So I guess the BP hates LA stuff was a bit off.

Bill seems to be a guy who will tell it like it is no matter what.

I enjoyed him when he was in dallas and I enjoy watching him on tv.

I miss the old Parcells press conferences. Listening to Phillips can actually be more revealing (i.e. what's really going on with the team), but not nearly as entertaining or informative about pro football.

nope, they would have got him for tripping up Austin while not looking for the football

The only problem I have with so many of these analysts is their focus in most cases is always on our competitors. Why don't the Cowboys offense and defense get credit? Why so much talk about Favre and Rogers and barely any mention of Romo's play? It's just as bad on television as it is in the print media. What do the Cowboys have to do to get big time recognition?

I guess the best thing we can do is just go out and continue to win and win big. Maybe the Patriots have it right. To get big time recognition you gotta run up the score. I got no doubt we can do that. We can certainly put up 42 points against the Lions since the Packers slapped 36 (?) on them.

BTW: I'm tired of seeing Packer wining about the game. Let's see. The Packers beat the Lions on Thanksgiving Day 36?-26. Hope our offense gets 42 and limits Lions to 17. Given Kitna's comments about Bradie James on radio last year after they beat us I think the defense will be well motivated against the Lions and their QB.

Talk is cheap. Why worry about what somebody says? Or doesn't? Winning takes care of such things.
