Parcells Considering Coaching... Again...

According to the Newark Star-Ledger, Dolphins VP of Football Operations Bill Parcells is telling those close to him that he would consider coaching again if the right situation comes about.

Parcells has an out in his contract if Wayne Huizenga sells the Fins to current co-owner Stephen Ross. ESPN reported Sunday that Parcells might jump to another team as GM, but the Star-Ledger says the Tuna would also be interested in coaching the talent he evaluates. Any team pursuing Parcells would obviously have to realize he's a short-term solution. If Parcells does return to the sidelines, the Jets would appear to be his best fit.

I would be stunned if Parcells ever came back as a coach. It would have to be a situation like San Diego.

Screw that.

Bring him back here.
Yeah. I'd be all for that.

But Jimmy coming back is more likely if you ask me.

Maybe Detroit is his next stop.

I like Parcells but where ever he goes it will not be long before he talks about being burned out again.

lol no we are not hiring Parcells back! Parcells literally looked like he gave up last time he was here near the end of his tenure. its clear age has caught up to him in the coaching departement. now hiring him as the GM well now that i would really want but of course jerry wont do it...

He won't be coming here. Jerry doesn't want to compete with anyone. Same reason why he's in love with Wade. For the wrong reasons.

The Cowboys drove Parcells into retirement. This Sunday was a good reminder why.

LOL. The media ***** raises his head again. The guy has his team in the playoffs and he is throwing this out???

But a leopard can't change his spots, he's done this everywhere he's been_when the Pats went to the SB, undercutting Dungy for the TB job, using Atlanta GM job to win Miami position, when Dallas was fighting for the playoffs he's rendezvousing w/Giants for GM job, et. al.

The guy absolutely craves the spotlight, and hates players/coaches who crave the same.

Yep. Like I was saying in another thread, I wonder if he was flirting with them in the parking lot before the game.

Bill is a master at getting out while the getting's good. Maybe he thinks the Fins are at the top already.

he probably just wants to cash in one more time, like he did with Jerry.

he's a huge fraud of a coach now, I honestly cant believe anybody would entertain the idea of bringing this guy in to roam the sidelines again.

Or maybe someone he knows in the media...hmm who could that be....is once again helping him gain leverage in a new contract.

Seems to me He will just get a new deal of some sort in miami.

I cant imagine he wants to stand on the sidelines and watch bad quarterback play for 6 months with the jets.
