He got us a core on defense. He's got a lot of work to do on the other side of the ball.

I see this team in a serious crisis this off-season.
Alright,,maybe "crisis" is a little harsh, but there are definitely some rather large decisions to be made,,, thats for sure.

For starters, we dont know if BP is officially coming back yet or not, I would be surprised if he did retire, but as of now we dont know for sure.

The dillema we are facing is that this 3-4 conversion is far from being finished, we have invested one draft and a chunk of cap in Henry and Ferguson in putting together the cornerstones of what constitute a viable 3-4.

But by no means is this project finished, and that is going to suck alot of cap dollars up in trying to obtain the LB's that BP needs, and a FS as well.

The reason I brought up BP's future status with this team initialy, is because.. where is this team if BP were to call it quits?

Unless we were able to solicit the services of someone that is a 3-4 guru like Capers for the role, this team would be left in a state of limbo with a 3-4 defense in a very preliminary state, that still needs to be finsished, and finishing an maintaining this is just routine as far as personnel goes, but having someone run this D in a succesful scheme is another. Dont be fooled,,,, BP runs this machine,, Zimmer is and has been only a token this season.

I guess what Im trying to say is that we all better pray hard that BP returns, and if he returns is able to bring in the right personnel assistants that will carry on and maintain his system.

Because right now, if BP were to leave,, this team would be left in a serious state of Limbo, that could set us back even further than any of us could imagine for years to come.

Right on

Imagine Payton and Zimmer taking over completely.

This is a surprise? The Cowboys have been in a crisis every year since Jimmy J left.
