Parcells' injury worry position(NT, RB) and next year's draft

Parcells said he was worried about a couple of positions the Cowboys were thin at and couldn't afford an injury. Ferguson at NT was one and RB was another. Don't remember if he mentioned a third(kicker?). I hope the Cowboys stay injury free. An injury at NT or RB would hurt especially.

I wonder if this is where the Cowboys are headed in next year's draft. NT is definitely a priority. Unfortunately, Tyson Thompson got hurt. Will the cowboys draft a RB or go with TT next year? I'm sure backup QB is on the list also(Pitt Qb Palko?)

RB is only a concern if either JJ or MB get injured. NT is much more so since we have NO one that is as good or even really close to Ferguson.

Stanley is apparently playing very well since we re-signed him. Parcells even joked that the other teams he had stints with must have better coaches because he's playing a lot better since he left. Not saying he's "really close" to as good as Ferguson, but it's less of a worry now.

Given a full off-season workout program I think Stanley is the fix at backup at NT and eventual starter.

stanley needs a year in the off seaon program. tyson will be back so i don't see us taking a rb unless someone special falls to us.nt may be a big concern now but come draft day i don't see it as a top priority. nt is a hard position to play and if there is any one spot i like a f.a. at it's nt. let someone else pay them to develope.i figure we go oline early in the draft.then just lock in on the best players.we have wants but not alot of real needs for starters so any position late could be in the cards

This team is good enough to go BPA in the draft.

We could add another Canty or Barber on day 2 for sure. There is always rooms for young talent. I still suspect WR early on day 1; perhaps round 2 and NT would also bear watching if the guy is a difference maker.

Let's just cut him now, then.

Other than NT, I'm more concerned about depth at G than anywhere else. There's been next to nothing said about the prospects for Procter, and I'd hate to have to slide Gurode over an mess up two positions on the line. Not to mention that the starting RG is, what, 34?
