Parcells = Monday Night Magic?

Here's what we've done in Parcells' first three years on Monday Night:

2003: Parcells gets first win as cowboys coach in a miracle finish. The giants kick the ball out of bounds following their go-ahead score with little time left, then quincy carter puts billy cundiff into position to tie the game with a 53 yd field goal at the end of regulation. The boys then drive down the field in OT to win on another Cundiff field goal.

2004: The Cowboys made a late fourth quarter rally that included a controversial TD catch by keyshawn johnson, then an onside kick was recovered by Jason Witten to keep the game alive. JuJo scored his third TD of the game on a 10 yard draw and the boys win a shocker in seattle.

2005: After getting pounded the entire game, Terry Glenn catches a TD to put Dallas within 6 with little time left in the fourth quarter. Instead of the running the ball on second down the eagles choose to pass and Roy Williams picks McNabb and takes it to the house, thus capping another crazy Monday night victory for the boys.

2006: ???

The giants game will be our only true "monday night" game this year, as the christmas day game is on nbc. Given our history with parcells, we could be in for a real treat this monday night.

btw, this is my first post, but i have been browsing the forum for a few months...you guys do a nice job:thumbup:

:welcome:

Good first post. My expectations for this game are high. I think our OL is up to the challenge at home. We get "good Bledsoe" this week. We win pulling away.

:welcome:

great job in your first post being something postive. I give you a hand clap

Excellent first post and welcome to the board.

Only problem is we suffered some voodoo on Monday night as well. Dallas vs Washington last year.

Bad memories...brings back bad memories.

Something tells me this guy is not another return of "Bad Attitude". :)

welcome!

Wasn't the Commanders comeback on Monday Night? I believe so, because that was the night the triplets were inducted into the Ring.

3 outta 4 ain't bad.

Thanks guys. Oddly enough though, all of the games I menitioned initially were on the road. I don't think we've won a monday night game at home under parcells yet. (washington and philly games were ugly) Hopefully we get that first one on monday...I haven't had more confidence in a Dallas team since the triplets.

That was a game of great promise. All three wide receivers looked like they'd be major contributors, and some heads up play by kids on specials was very encouraging. (Zuriel Smith and Randall Williams, was it?) It was also a game that convinced many of us Carter had potential that had not yet been unmined.

That win was big for Bill...back to his Meadowlands lair with an upset - I will never forget the photos taken of him and Greg Ellis post game.

And wasn't it the game that set the Jints on their slide in 03?

I was thinking that too but I didn't want to spoil this happy thread.

Everyone seemed to be having such a good time.

I guess that doesn't fit in these "Magic Moments," but I was thinking the same thing.

One thing we can say whether winning or losing, Parcells' Cowboys teams make it interesting on Monday Nights. :p:

Just noticed that you live in Malibu? Man, I need to quit debating things with you because you are obviously living right.:laugh2:

Last I heard living in Malibu ain't cheap.

Good day Peplaw06!

Welcome to the board.

I also saw something flash on the screen a couple of days ago on the NFL channel that the Cowboys are tied for the most monday night wins of any NFL team. It didn't say who we were tied with. Probably GB or SF.
