To sort of round this off, I'm not advocating that we Blitz everydown, though I think Ware should be attacking all the time (I dont belong to any fantasy leagues) except when disguising an attack from another player which wouldn't be a blitz, but just keeping the offense from being able to predict who is coming. Why not move Ware around, so teams have a more difficult time accounting for him?

I thought the idea is you can bring up to 7 different people on any down from any direction and that keeps the QB from knowing the coverage scheme and where the pressure should be coming from. Bringing four in a predictable way doesnt scare defenses. Staying in a base long enough will allow the other team to catch up and adjust to what you want to do defensively.

Dallas did more against the Commanders than against Jacksonville.

Thanks for the comments. It was interesting.

2 DE's, a NT, 2 OLB's and a safety ....... that's at least 6 positions that rushed and/or blitzed, and although I didn't specifically notice who else, i know Roy wasn't the only one blitzing up the middle on a few ocassions Sunday so i suspect that one or more ILB's may have blitzed a time or two as well.

I suspect sometimes that people think the ones getting the sacks or hits as the QB releases the ball are the only ones rushing and/or blitzing ......

Regardless though - I have to wonder what the heck is wrong with fans who have any problem at all with what we did to Washington Sunday. This is like complaining that an offense that had 300 passing yards, 150 rushing yards, and 4 TD's in a winning game just didn't do enough.
