During the game there was reference to Parcells giving Romo his list of ten commandments. Romo is said to still have them in his locker.

THey also stated that Parcells read them on MNF countdown before the game. Did anyone get a chance to see this? Is there anyway that we can get them posted?

I would be interested in finding out what all ten are.

One of them was (paraphrasing here) if you throw 3 interceptions can you go back in the huddle and still make the players have confidence in you

I saw it and recorded it, but I don't have access to them now. I thought they would be posted here immediately after the segment. I'm sure someone will put them up.

They were good. FWIW, Tony broke most of them last night. :D

I remember the last one.

"Don't be a celebrity QB."

None of it was new and none of it was unique to Tony. As JFE said this morning, Parcells gave those same rules to Quincy and others.

Yet I thought Berman was going to cry after he heard it.

What business does Parcells have giving Romo "commandments" about playing QB? Parcells is a defensive guy and knows jack **** about the QB position.

Dallas was the first time in his career that he didn't have consistently good QB play. Troll, troll, troll your boat.

He knew enough to keep Romo under wraps for a few years and let him develop. Romo credits Parcells, he must know some thing.

One of them was to run in the off-season and do squats. Have plenty of leg strength becuase "fat qb's can't move in the pocket."

Found this by Googling.
  1. Ignore other opinions
  2. Clowns can't run a huddle
  3. Fat qb's can't avoid the rush
  4. Know your job
  5. Know your own players
  6. Be the same guy every day
  7. Throwing the ball away is a good play
  8. Learn to manage the game. clock, clock, clock
  9. Get your team in the end zone
  10. Don't panic

The newest 11th commandment is supposed to be "Don't be a celebrity QB."

The eleventh one probably came about after Carrie Underwood came on the scene. And why he keeps her pretty much under wraps during the season.

12) And whenever someone offers you cheese, never, ever eat it.

One of them in there was the bit about how you throw with your legs, not your arm. So you have to squat and clean.

Obviously that was Vinny's favorite.

(Oops, didn't see that da_boyz-mk said it first.)

I think it was "fat QBs can't avoid the pass rush." Did anyone else think of Lorenzen when he said that? :)
